hey m8 happy new year! I have a question,if i want to dual mine some coin with zil, is it smart/worth to solo mine main coin if there is 1minute pause of mining main coin for zil?

probably not because the network would recognise that you are pasuing mining, and probably will class you as less reliable than someone who is mining 24/7

Its impossible to solo mine btc because no one has 100 pb power

How does the pool allocate jobs to multiple rigs solo mining to the same wallet? Would it be better to have a big rig with more hashing power or multiple smaller rigs?

there would be slight difference, main problem would be what latency each rig had to the pool. if you are really into maximizing then big rig would be better

@@SterlingSpecter1 Thank you. I rebuilt rigs as multiple smaller rigs to reduce the "fault domain" and now need to rebuilt them into bigger ones to consolidate hashing power. :)

Solo over time is the same as pool mining just with less fees if you are patient enough

The lower your hash rate the longer it takes to be worth it to be solo, but the more worth it in roí it becomes
