That's essentially the same. Worst overall team, because the offense has been holding the team back. 10-7 record, worst in the Mahomes era. Least amount of PPG and YPG in the Mahomes era. These are things that only the offense is at fault, but enough to drag the whole team down. This is also the best Chiefs defense in the Mahomes era though, so it looked very worrying for us Chiefs fans that the offense is wasting our goooooooood defense during the regular season.

Lamar doesn't have to beat Mahomes he just needs to start winning in the playoffs. 2019 #1 seed and done in 1rd. He has a bad playoff record. Now that he's advancing to the AFC championship and has 1 confirmed MVP with a 2nd on the way people will not be as questioning of his greatness.

It's a proven fact at this point that no matter what the form of the Chiefs is in the regular season, Mahomes and co turn up in the playoffs. Crazy to think that since becoming a starter, Mahomes never settled for anything less than an AFC championship game. Win or lose against the Ravens, Chiefs already made everyone in the Kingdom proud.

Josh allen has never played as poor as lamar has in a playoff game. Learn to differentiate between individual play and how he contributes towards the win and the team's overall play which in buffalos case contributes to a close loss. Ill give u some names: Diggs, Sherfield, Terrence, McGovern and everyone on defense except Rousseau and Dodson. Them collectively is why the Bills lost. Not allen who did more than enough to contribute to a win.

The Raiders finally beat Mahomes in 2023, and they are all at home on their couches. This is the longest Lamar has gone without getting injured and screwing his team over. Heck, the Broncos beat the Chiefs this year. A single defeat does not set a precedent or show one team has a weakness to another. Wouldn’t hang my hat on that ‘21 win.

I agree with Acho. The word “GREAT” gets thrown around too loosely. Josh can be Super Talented, but GREAT has to be earned.

@@SlimTim222That’s such a nonsensical way of looking at things. Both Jackson and Allen came in the league the same year 2018. Jackson made the playoffs Allen didn’t. Jackson didn’t play well. Of the 7 TO they consistently talk about at least 3 were in that game. So Jackson is dinged for playing better than Allen and getting his team to the playoffs. Then Allen wins his division gets a home game against probably the 7 or the 6 seed. The 7 seed first win was vs the Cowboys this year so he is getting easy competition (The Steelers we’re garbage and didn’t deserve a playoff spot). Jackson twice gets the bye so no bad 6 or 7 seeds. Jackson has played two whole seasons and won MVP both times. The two injury years his team was winning the AFC or was second to KC. Assuming Jackson loses they both got to one championship game and Allen has lost more times in the divisional round as he has played more times there.

Ironically, the same play that cost the bills the game is the whole reason Andy got a defense to solve a shoot out. It's hard to paint a picture on QB's by themselves, cause you have people that supports them. The most common way to judge greatness is how they performed under pressure and did they win in the end. Also how often did they do it. It's like on the movie Rocky Balboa. Unless you went to battle with a great opponent and won, it's not considered great. Especially, if you was against the odds to do it. So the question is, how many straight test battles had any quarter backs had to reach that? How many quarter backs can go 13 secs and tie a game. Plus, QB's are always going to be tied to their coaches. It's the luck of the draw.

Yes they should. This is the 4th straight season that Josh has led Buffalo to the playoffs only to get kicked to the curb by Patrick or Burrow. He’s overhyped before the regular season only to be booted come playoff time. I think Josh is an awesome qb, but he never delivers on the hype he gets

I don't know what more you want from Allen. He is first in the league in EPA in the last 2 min. Ahead of Mahomes. When corrected for drops, he has the best EPA in the league, and his receivers get the least separation of all QBs. 1st in yards. 1 in touchdowns. One of the Lowest turnover worthy play rates in the league. Better than Mahommes # and best of his career. Last night he accounted for every score and the vast majority of yards. Green Bay has drafted 6+ WRs and tight ends in the 5th round or better since Love has been drafted. Bills drafted one and is spending all their money on defense. The #1 receiver he does have disappeared. Last night was not perfect, but he has his #1 receiver dropping 50 yard dimes, not to mention other huge drops by Sherrield. His defense couldn't stop anyone, to the point that McDermott tried a fake punt to keep the ball. His kicker is having a down year and bad game. He can't play defense, catch his own passes, or kick as well. He also has to play against his own coach's game management. 3 times this year the lead he gave got blown by McDermott. Yet despite all the challenges this year, his numbers were closer to MVPs of years past than anyone else. I like the Chiefs and Mahommes is great. If it wasn't for Taylor Swift distracting from the game ,I would root for them. But Allen does more with less and is held to a standard no one else is.

Dak threw 2 INT's one for 6 against the 7th seed.... Won 2 playoff games in his entire carreer. Josh threw 4 INTs in the playoffs his entire career so far and has 28 total TDs in the playoffs... Oh and he only once lost the first game in the playoffs.

Josh cannot do everything, his defense let him down. All the defense had to do is stop them a couple times in the first half.

As a Giants fan I'm confused. If making it to the super bowl itself is such a high accolade then I think they need to reevaluate their recent opinions on Jalen Hurts as he definitely made it to one and came close to winning. As for Brady and his compatriots it's a bit of a toss up because on one end, it took Peyton 9 years, on the other it took Eli less years than it took Allen on fact Eli won two by this point in his career. Many make arguments about that first super bowl being the giants snatching victory from defeat but no one argues how good that second Superbowl team was overall. Accolades are accolades. I think Allen will get there and he is great but he and his TEAM must find a way over the hurdle. It's not all on him. Just like it isn't all on any one QB. Too often people forget that.

They also don't want to talk about his defense letting up 34 ppg in their last 4 playoff losses. Allen has 27 touchdowns and 6 turnovers in his 10 playoff games and his defense constantly chokes. What more was he supposed to do in this game or the 2021 afc divisional. He had 260 yards and 3 touchdowns vs the chiefs. 3 drives ended because of huge dropped deep balls. How does that get ignored.

@@nelsonadams3609 you must have misread. In their last 4 playoff losses. The bills defense is allowing 34 ppg on average. The chiefs had 21 first downs on 43 real offensive plays. (Excluding kneel downs) That is awful.

@nelsonadams3609 he hit 3 perfect deep balls and they were all dropped. There was nothing more he could have done. On the final drive he had a guy open for a TD but got hit when he threw. The loss is on the team. Not on him. Josh allen had 51 total touchdowns this year. Without him the bills are a 5 win team.

For Shady to say the Bills have a better overall team than the Chiefs is just crazy lol

Caught that too. Allen is the only reason they were in the game. Gabe Davis was out, Knox got hurt, Diggs had two big drops, one was like 65 yards, Cook ran for 3.4 yards a carry and the kicker missed a game tying FG. KC has the best TE of all time. Placheco ran for 6 yards a carry and KC has a better defense and way better coaching. Plus couldn't get any pressure on Mahomes.

​@wolfkingt they talk about Burrow beating the Mahomes in the AFC championship. The Bengals defense also picked off Mahomes twice and forced 4 punts and the the Bengals Kicker was 4/4 on FGs. If the Bills defense force 4 punts and got 2 ints, the bills with Allen would have won easily won.

Josh Allen played really really well vs one of the best defenses in the league. Especially with getting zero help from his star Wr! Kudos to the Oline, Shakir and Cook who all balled out. Mahomes and the Chiefs offense faced a defense full of substitute players in the secondary and LB core. They did what they were supposed to do and easily scored on almost every drive. Buffalo defense wasn’t even competitive. Every KC run play was gaining massive yards. Every pass play went for easy completions for massive yards. The Buffalo defense put the Buffalo offense in a position where they had to be perfect. Tough to do vs a superb KC defense. They couldn’t be perfect

Allen/Rivers comp was made by Nick Wright a day before on the same network. I'm a Chiefs fan and as a fan I fear Allen far more than any other QB in the NFL including Burrow when facing KC. I truly believe Buffalo lost because his coaching staff severely limits/has limited his play selection since they started the winning streak. During the winning streak he's looked/played as poorly as he did his first two seasons. They win 6 in a row and Josh has 5 TD PASSES / 5 Int. Most of their wins were on the back of the running game (Allen/Cook) and that running game helping the Buffalo defense stay fresh and be able to dominate. Buffalo coaching made the mistake to limit Allen and if Allen has to think and process real time he makes weird head-scratching plays (most turnovers in the league since he joined) but he makes many more plays that scorch the earth and steals the heart of the opposing defense. The only person that can legitimately stop Josh Allen is Josh Allen. Oh, and Josh Allen's coaching/coordinators. Buffalo coaches differently vs KC because of that Championship game a few years ago, which is actually a huge mistake. A few plays that needed to be made weren't well before that field goal was missed. And the coaching decision for the fake punt was both bad and poorly executed. They didn't buy into to the play call.

Josh Allen is the dude the NFL and media wanted to be the best player cuz of his complication but he could never beat his father Patrick Mahommes. Changed OT Rule, fire OC etc but at the end it’s time to realize y’all responsible for putting the dude that high of a pedestal when he doesn’t deserve it.

The nfl doesn’t even push Allen it’s just some of the media. Many talking heads have been saying he has massive holes in his game since diggs got there(reckless gunslinger, backyard type player, subpar processing, etc) Patty is literally pushed in our faces all day between commercials, media gushing(Tony romo and collinsworth I’ve never seen a throw like that blah blah blah) and even greats like manning/brady giving him advice. Come off it Patrick is pushed more than any player in nfl history right now(constantly called the new GOAT) 😂

Die hard Chiefs fan: There are always these narratives for every game. Last week you discussed if Josh Allen was under Andy Reed would it be different. An offensive minded coach. Would Josh Allen have MVPs, SB rings and in the pro bowl every year. Probably! There are variables I feel like are left out of these conversations that could change the entire dynamic of a player's career. Nothing but respect for Josh Allen!

Not to mention he covers up alot of the teams flaws with his play, so alot of concern dont really get adresseses,,,, IF i owned the Bills, Von is gone, Diggs gets traded for some picks, (maybe trade up for a Rome Odunze), see what we can afford in FA, some older vets out there in Henry, Evans, Adams, and some defensive help.... Good game...we were also down to 3rd stringers on defense. No way we were stopping Kelce with that. Our biggest weapon been a no show in clutch games.....but Kelce appears for mahomes. Good game all around.

Very Phillip Rivers esque. Good stats, a few playoff wins, but can never make it to the big one, let alone win it.

Nobody that actually watched the game could blame Josh for the loss. He's the only reason his team has a shot year after year. He has a defensive-minded HC, rookie OC, one receiver worth naming (that dropped a TD last night). They finally got a decent run game that doesn't rely 90% on Josh running it himself halfway through the season. Idc what anyone says, winning is not a QB stat, it's a team stat. If you swap Allen and Mahomes' teams, Allen would have all of the accolades. They need to get a reliable WR2 this off season (shoulda had DHop this season).

@Johenz Most teams score fewer points in the second half, especially when the opposing DC is good at his job. Buffalo just didn't have the personnel to contend with KC's offense last night. They were running 4th string linebackers. One of them got signed from the couch two weeks ago, and he had to put on the play helmet because everyone else was so injured. The score could have easily been 27-41 with the two dropped TD passes and FG the Bills had. They got out played. That doesn't mean Josh isn't a great player like they're saying in the video.

Less than two minutes left wide open Diggs near the sticks and he throws it in the end zone. People acting like if they get that TD they win when the Bills have stopped Mahomes once from scoring and the Defense is decimated. Going one further he threw the ball behind the line of scrimmage like 16 out of his 26 passes. He wasn’t balling out outside of runs as the Chiefs couldn’t stop the run.

Cook averaged 4.7 yards per carry. "They finally got a decent run game..." Last season, the Bills runningbacks averaged 4.87 yards per carry, that was second to the Ravens runningbacks. Receivers dropping balls..., how about all the times receivers are wide open for a short gain but Allen can't resist going for the long low percentage deep balls? What did Brady say right to Allen's face, "you could throw into tight coverage, or you can throw to someone who's a little more open for less yards".

Look at all the injuries the Bills defense had. Also look at how Josh performed against the Chief’s defense.

Bills punted twice. You know how annoying it must be to have to grind so hard for a TD, and then KC responds back with a TD in 2 minutes. Chiefs completely like 50% of their 1st downs. You can’t expect Allen to play perfect, and he didn’t, but he took care of the ball and didn’t hand it over. People talk about him missing that last pass for the TD but fail to mention Chris Jones amazing pressure which resulted in Allen being put off balance

Josh Allen had the ball on his hand in the red one a chance to go up and he missed wide open Diggs and Khalil Shakir. But hey let’s blame coach, defense, special team etc.

It might be "wishy washy" but they have points. Everyone crowns Josh Allen at the beginning of the season every single year. He wasn't bad in these playoffs, just made a few bad throws that ended up being the difference. But that's how it's been with the Bills, either they're bad and they get the breaks beat off them or they comes up JUST short in the playoffs.

Thats Fake news good sir. Josh Allen actually wins playoff games. He just has the misfortune of going through Mahomes like Payton did against Brady.

It is a team sport. Stop using team results to judge individual players. Quarterbacks are important but they don’t play defense or special teams. We label Brady as the goat when in reality his defense won him 4 of his 7 super bowls. This needs to change. Acho is blaming Josh for not beating Mahomes’ team at their worst, meanwhile Buffalo’s 5 best players on defense were either hurt for the majority of the year or coming off of major injuries, and his weapons have been mediocre. Obviously you can blame the Bills as a whole but trying to take down Allen individually when he was the best player on the field next to Mahomes. Also Burrow was bailed by his defense on his Super Bowl run, he was not why they won and I’m tired of that narrative. He’s good but he’s not even on the Allen/Lamar tier

As a Cowboys fan they are not. Josh Allen rises to the occasion every time. He hasn’t gotten the bigger wins , but he balls out.

Yes the opinion should change BECAUSE IF HE WON they would try to elevate him as a QB and in the current rankings. Allen played great but he's protected for achieving little to nothing its so annoying

I was fine with this argument until Acho casually stated Brady got one during the "Mahomes Era". Correction, Brady got two during this great Mahomes era. He is the only QB with multiple playoffs wins against Mahomes. Fun fact, Mahomes only has one blowout playoff loss. Can you guess who the opposing QB was? If you guessed Tom Brady, you would be correct. Matter of fact, the first three years of this "Mahomes era" went like this....Lost to Brady in AFC championship, won SB 54, got blown out by Brady in SB 55. If anything, it is Mahomes who managed to get one during the Brady era.

This is a testament to the fact that judging a player just isn’t as cut and dry as we try to portray it. Most people don’t think Goff is “like that” because he simply have had continued success. Lamar is not looked at as the better QB, yet he literally carried his team every year and only hasn’t won due to injury. People want to love Josh so much that they disregard his bad decisions during games. He managed to not have a turnover in the game against the chiefs, yet he also misfired a clutch throw. But he’s better than Lamar, why? Patty and Reid definitely in a room by themselves right now, if anything they’ve proven that you can make it this far with just Mahomes, but their regular season suggested getting rid of receivers two years in a row would be an issue. But as long as you can win your division or make it to the playoffs, you have a chance.

Philip Rivers was dubbed a elite qb. There were questions on whether Flacco was top 10 the year after winning the sb. Matt didn’t even make a sb yet. Just funny how the narratives change for certain players.

It changes the way we have to look at the Bills as a team. If Buffalo had constructed a supporting cast like how Baltimore did for Lamar we would be having a different discussion

The bills were down to signing players from off of the couch on defense. No shade on KC. They won, but don't act like the Bills didn't enter the season with a great team. They just couldn't stay healthy.

Allen has a good supporting cast, The Bills should've kept running the ball with Cook and Johnson idk why they stopped in the 4th quarter for this season it seems the bills play better when they actually try to limit Allen, even his throws were mostly behind or close to the LOS

Shady said real points. Big red been doing this for years. In Philly he was in that conference title multiple times and a superbowl, but also not egotistical that he didn’t adapt offensive to how the game changed. Also was assistant on GB staff winning a ship. Perfect example of not adapting as a HC, the hoodie for his offense when Brady left, and so egotistical having DC’s be OC’s. Lamar has beaten Patrick Mahomes. Did he not beat them at home? Y'all are tripping and goal post movers. Lamar has broken All kind of records, Unanimous MVP and maybe getting another one MVP this year, has the second highest winning percentage, behind Mahomes, and yet y'all think every other QB is better than him, and you constantly drag him and his reputation through the mud. Josh Allen isn't a QB, he should switch to WR. His ceiling is only so high, outstanding athlete, but I don't think he can play QB. Defense will catch up to Allen. Allen shouldn't wait until Year 7 to switch to WR like the OSU Terrell Pryor. All Jackson criticism aside, I like Allen, he reminds of Big Ben, maybe a little faster, arm strength not as good, but has leadership qualities. I think if Allen goes to Minnesota or the Ram, he wins a championship. I don't think he wins in Buffalo in terms of a SB.

Ever seen a guy flick his wrist and the ball travel 60 yards. He is absolutely unique and they cannot quantify or handle him. He ran a pro-style offence in college but that was completely ignored by all the pundits. I think all we are seeing different his year is playcalling and him finishing the regular season. Ravens fans know he's been like this pretty much from the start.

Joy hit the nail on the head because Allen is so good. People want him to have more accolades behind his name when all he has is winning season every year, one of the division 4 years in a row took a franchise that had it been to the playoffs in 17 years with the work of the head coach and turn the program into a team that always is in the Post season. Josh allen's career numbers through his first six years are stellar other than the Turn overs

Everytime Acho talks I realize anybody can have an opinion

I have significantly more issues with Buffalo Bill's head coach than with Josh Allen. The Bills could have won this if they had not been so aggressive at the end. This is a problem I often see in football. I understand the desire to be aggressive in football but often times it's better to just get the first down than attempting some sort of knock out punch. I would have liked to have seen Mahomes sit on the bench looking hopeless a bit longer.

The way KC can just wake up and completely turn things around ON A DIME in the win-or-die atmosphere of the Playoffs is beyond remarkable. It's freakish, really. But that's what having a winning culture of excellence from top to bottom does. That's what having the best 😅 the best QB, TE allows for. The Chiefs are the only modern team that can just DECIDE to win. They have arrived at this point in a very different way than ever before. Have fought through plenty of adversity this season, including getting dumped on by all the pundits. They have gone from "vulnerable" to the AFC Championship in the last two games. They dominated Miami bell to bell, leveled up, and played even better against a much tougher team in the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo. Outside of the Hardman fumble, they played essentially a perfect game. No picks, no drops, ridiculously efficient (43 non kneel down plays in total), and the Defense gave up zero plays over 20 yards while only allowing 7 points in the 2nd half. Actually, nobody has scored more than 7 points in the 2nd half against KC in months, and their season long, 2nd half points allowed in the 2nd half AVERAGE is 7.0. THESE Kansas City Chiefs are not who anyone wants to see right now, and they likely haven't even peaked.

None of these people want to talk about the fact that the Chiefs win against the fins. And the bills who were destimated by injuries on defense

Disinforrmation. Fake news. Allen has never led the league in turnovers in any of his 6 seasons. The facts are literally the opposite of what you claimed. Very ignorant claim my friend. I don't mean to be harsh, but making a statement like that when data is so readily available on the internet makes you look really bad. What Allen has done is led the league in Touch Downs and Yards. Josh has also set the NFL record for most Touchdowns in NFL history through his first 5 and first 6 seasons. What Josh has done is be one of the very few players in NFL history to score 50 touchdowns in a season (including playoffs) in multiple seasons and has done so twice in just his 6th year. That's what makes Josh Allen great. Fact-check me wrong if you think you can.

No, i think you need to check Josh Allen stats, he has never thrown for 50 TD in any of his 5 or 6 season. In 2021 he had 36 regular season TD and 9 in the post season 36+9=45 In 2023 he was tied with Dak with 15 Ints. @@RageDaug

@@williejohnson5172 Manning, Marino, Elway, Farve, Brees, and Brady all had more interceptions through their first 6 full seasons. ...well, technically Allen is tied with Brady at 78. But considering Brady is considered the GOAT, being tied with him isn't bad. The others are all time greats. Manning is also said by some to be the GOAT and he has over 100 interceptions in his first 6 seasons. Makes Josh look down-right cautious in comparion.

@@greggorythomas6144 I didn't say Josh threw 50 touchdowns. I said he scored 50 TDs. 2023 is one of the years Josh scored 50+ TDs. No one else was particularly close this year. Maybe a couple will get closer in the next couple games.

Dak basically threw 2 pick 6s and then statpadded at the end of the game so he could go home and show his family that he doesn’t crumble completely come playoffs. Bills loss is 90% on Bass, Diggs, and the defence. cowboys loss (against the 7th seed) was 50% on Dak

Allen is not better than LJ , Allen have better weapons than LJ but LJ have done more with less than Allen has. His game elevated when Diggs got there. Alot of yards, TD, int but Allen is the same as LJ both can run and pass but Allen has better weapons. Since Diggs got there they picked the bills to go to the Superbowl and hasn't yet.
