Doue is definitely next up. When i saw him play, i couldn't believe how good he was and there was no hype around him. Rennes just produce great young players. I think Mason Mount will be the barrier to this transfer though.😢😢😢

We aren't getting him. This doesn't feel like a United signing. I would 100 percent take the gamble but the guys in charge of United won't. Mason Mount confuses me, I never understood why we signed him for £60m.

I hope more people realize how good this content is.

Yes sign him and use him to fill in for Rashford, Bruno and Garnacho.

I feel united should try their best to get him now, cuz he could become a top level player when he leaves Rennes

@Antlantis Football great analysis.. personal answer being that its not that they should its just that they cant. Considering progress of the upcoming academy players and also proffesional players on that position are on huge wages so they cant. It is rather efficient and effective to produce similar profile player from the academy. E.g Diallo, him given a chance can be greater than him given his high skill set so why hinder his progress by signing an unproven talent..too risky.

This risky guy has Bayern and PSG chasing him. He will likely be levels above Amad. United simply don't sign guys like this but instead spend ridiculous amounts on players like Mason Mount and Antony.

@@almac9203 from your examples given i'd say, signing him would be a similar situation as signing antony. Antony was proven at a dutch league to be of immense talent so he was bought at a high fee at an expense of limiting pelistri a chance to develop and grow to be of great talent. Signing desire doue brings similar negative effect to diallo. Diallo has proven that he has adapted to the league when doue cant prove until brought in. So its very risky from a logical stand point.

@@remmyfrank6484 it is risky but it is different from Antony because the Antony decision was based on ETH judgement which is horrendous. This guy is simply a more sought after player and teams like PSG and Bayern have already bid for him whereas no one bid for Antony. This guy also has the technical ability that Antony doesn't. The scouting reports on Antony said he was a promising player that may be worth €40m if he continues to develop yet we paid €100m without him developing further. In this case PSG and Bayern have already put in substantial offers. To summarise this would be somewhat risky and would require some development work from United but this guy isn't comparable to Antony because he is technically superior and is actually sought after by other teams. I understand that the safer option is to go for proven players with our limited resources but this is one of the finest young talents in Europe. I would put this guy in the Xavi Simons level of talent rather than Diallo level.

@@remmyfrank6484 I actually don't think United will buy him because we can't afford to take the risk however if you do some research you will see that he is one of the most highly regarded young talents in Europe. He is nothing like Antony or Diallo. This guy can play CM and AM plus wing and he is technically sound. We took a punt on Hojlund last season and he also wasn't a proven player so it wouldn't be unprecedented to take a punt on this guy. I don't trust ETH's talent identification and transfers but people that have a better eye for talent rate this guy very highly hence why I am excited by this guy.

@@almac9203 its true he has talent and every skill set in his locker...unfortunately in the premiere league ,talent is not enough. Its always a gamble to bring in players because of their skills and talent for its not a major requirement.. Take a good example on sancho, similar to doue he was rated among the top young talent in europe which was true. With much skill set and talented potential nobody would have guessed it to be a wrong move to buy him. But in the end it never worked. Point being, talent isn't enough when representing a bigger club, it takes more than talent and doue has nothing convincing beyond his talent and skills.

He's definitely more like a 10 but I dont see united signing him. Bruno and Mount can cover the 10 spot Also, the likes of dan gore amd fletcher may be given some game time by ten hag in the 10 role. So... yeah. Doue is a good player but I dont see him joining united imo.

Bruno will be 31 when the season starts and Mounts injury prone, Jack fletcher is what 17? Not ready. Dan Gore probably won’t be a top player and doesn’t offer the versatility because he’s not got the athleticism of Doue so don’t really understand why he’d be a deciding factor. Doue can play 10 or on both wings, play Garnacho on the right as he doesn’t pass from the left.

Bruno still has 5 years atleast, mount is young too and i don’t think he is injury prone, it’s the fault of our medical department which will change next season. Now, we have 4-5 years to see if any youngster step up and they can develop meanwhile if not we can buy after. We can’t just go buy everyone who is good just because we can. We need to solve other places which needs to be in check first. No. 10 can wait

@@rahilkhanhere he’s not just a number 10, he can play on the wings aswell. We need to get rid of Antony so that would leave us with 3 wingers. As for Mount, he won’t come good he was injured the entire season before he signed with us this isn’t an anomaly it’s a pattern. 2 years worth of injuries not just last season, makes you think why did Chelsea not pay him what he wanted? They probably realised he’s A. Not worth the money or B. Too injury prone.

The answer to that question is absolutely yes! So versataile. The only question is if we should sign him as a CM or a LW.

The funny thing is he will cost more than Greenwood. PSG and Bayern have put in substantial offers for him. He is on the radar of a lot of teams.

My issue is 1. So many clubs in better shape than United than us want him 2. He prefers to play on the left and we really need someone focused on the right...we dont want another Sancho drama

You are forgetting something. United can offer something that other big teams can't, PLAYING TIME. ETH have proven himself to be willing to give young players a chance if they are good enough and I think Doue's versatility to cover multiple positions give him a great chance to get minutes.

@@sunglee3935 Wrong! You only have Amad as an example, but you are forgetting that ETH picked Mainoo over Eriksen and Garnacho over Rashford many times last season. The key here is if they are good and fit enough, they play. In Amad's case, he has been injured for a long time, letting him to fully recover is better for a long-term plan.

Bayern already bid for him. I think we should go for Summerville from Leeds
