I hate how amicable and passive Brianna is towards Luis, a deadbeat and current failure of a parent, but her and her whole family are uptight and mean to Devoin, who has his flaws but also has a good heart and loves those girls.

Devoin being a present parent does not mean he shouldn’t have to financially provide for Nova. 200 bucks a month is chump change. And just because he has a good relationship with Stella doesn’t mean he shouldn’t meet nova‘s emotional needs. They’re two completely different kids. If nova needs more from him emotionally he needs to provide that for her. Just taking her for the weekend and having her at his house isn’t enough for her. So sad when Nova tells her mom her dad ignores her. She needs more from him.

@@martharamirez5152 I said Davoin is flawed. If there are issues he and Brianna need to work on regarding Nova specifically, they should do that, and he should do his part. Though I do remember Brianna not wanting Nova at Davoin's house or with his family in earlier seasons, it's up to them to do their best to facilitate a relationship between Davoin and Nova. He absolutely should provide financially for his daughter as well as being present. I'm just saying it seems that Luis, as a deadbeat gets more respect than Davoin.

No this is true, she’s only 3, it’s normal to have a tantrum. But I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said the same thing to my 3 year old niece. Even knowing that it’s normal to have a fit or to cry and scream because they’re overwhelmed, you just get frustrated. Especially with a camera on you.

Believe it or not. But Devion is going to be the one who Stella refers to in the future. Hopefully when he geys more stable Stella will be welcomed on outings with her sis and dad.

This is how it was with my little sister and her dad. When he’d pick her up for the weekend he took me too. When he dropped off money for her he left some for me as well. I’d call on him before I’d ever call my db dad.

The most frustrating thing is that Brianna was ready to give Stella up for adoption but Louis was the one who insisted she keep her and now he’s never around

Won’t ever make sense. My baby daddy and I were together (I thought it was it for me) (he portrayed a completely different person than who he is) and he was soooooo ready to have a kid with me and would talk and talk about how much he wanted a kid… I was the one who was going to get on birth control even when he told me not too. I found out I was pregnant right before my appointment. He left me 2 weeks later. He went off with someone else and hasn’t done not ONE thing for baby and I. Our child is almost 3 months old and he hasn’t even asked to see him. I want what’s best for my son. Ive handled everything calmly and made it clear that the ball in his court! And he has shown no care. Lies and tells his fam that I am keeping him away from baby. Lied and said he showed up for birth and I wouldn’t let him in but yet he was never there. Not even a call or text. Even when he was in nicu for a month. He is 31 and has a daughter he is good too.. I am 24 and this is my first….. You never truly know somebody. It make me sad for my son but I’m doing everything I can for him!! He is so loved by so many and is a happy boy!! I wouldn’t change any of it!!!!!! I love him so much it’s insane🥰

“You need to stop, you’re 3 years old and you don’t need to act like that”. I understand that parenting can be really challenging but a 3 year old cannot grasp regulating their own emotions, it’s our job as parents to help them with this. Stella has every right to feel afraid, Luis is a stranger and Bri knows this. If Stella is in emotional distress every time Luis comes around, its truly time to re-evaluate the “relationship”. It’s unhealthy for Stella to watch this man come and go as he pleases. This may cause her to believe this is “normal” behavior and it is bound to cause her to continuously seek unstable relationships and mistake them for love. I know it seems impossible in the moment but you have to protect her heart! This is coming from someone who can relate to Bri’s experience.

Devoin obviously has an impact in both of the girls lives! That wouldn’t be possible if he wasn’t present. Devoin can also do better, but don’t kick someone down who was trying despite the bad attitudes that he received! Think about the situation he is in as well. However I do agree that the standards for fathers are really low!

I think they take him for granted because they know he'll always be there for his daughter no matter what crap they throw at him. With Luis they're maybe trying to be nice so he's more consistent with Stella but it's obviously not working.

Making a payment isn't that big a deal to someone who can work full time and devoin already spends money on them anyway. He's doing both the responsibility and fun. Raising a child is the responsibility part, Luis is the one having more fun blowing money and time on himself. It's kinda funny that you think raising a kid = fun and making a payment = responsibility. Perhaps you aren't a parent yourself? And no, devoin shouldn't have to do both, or even one, but it's very commendable that he does both without having to or being asked. Him doing anything for Stella is a great thing, he doesn't have to also make payments(on someone else's kid) for it to benefit her. What she gets from him, shes not getting elsewhere and that's way bigger than money.

@@pocasanchez I believe that a parent should have all the responsibilities. So you have to be there for your child IRL, emotionally and yes financially!! Can you imagine that Brianna would be like “well I have the kids most of the time, so I don’t want the financial responsibility”? The fandom would destroy her, because as a mother she should take care of her children. Where is that energy for the fathers? I am not a parent, but I can only imagine that spending time with a child is the most fun part.. so according to you Devoin should have that, but not the financial responsibility? When you adopt a child, the adoption agency will also except of you that you take care of that child on all fronts right? Obviously you can have another opinion, but I believe that if Devoin should have the “dad” part.. then he should take that role on all fronts.

Do you work at daycares in your free time for fun? If you think raising a child is all fun, please don't have kids bc my goodness, you've got another thing comin! Lol Even my 8 year old is aware of how hard it is to raise healthy, happy, productive kids. I don't even know anyone that thinks having a pet is all fun, let alone a child. Its a massive responsibility. Anyway, when someone is willing to do something they don't have to(for nothing in return, even), it's ridiculous to expect even more out of them. If you need 10 dollars to eat and someone gives you 5, are you going to tell them they're not doing enough? What you're failing to understand is that it's not 1 or the other. If Devoin doesn't play the dad role, nobody will. He doesn't need to also pay for someone else's child in order to be there for her and for that to have value. Luis wants no part of her life so it's pretty amazing that devoin is willing to do at least part of his job when he doesn't have to. I guarantee you devoin is working harder and having less fun than Luis who only cares about himself and his well being. To think devoin should be doing more for a child that isn't even his is absurd. Where's that energy for the actual father?

Every person Cheyenne has brought on teen mom a girls night in to watch episodes of teen mom 2 have been great and really funny. Cory, her dad and her step dad Dave, her mom, her sister and now her friends all of them have been so funny lol

I’m so happy MTV showed Devon. I often feel like Briana’s team is no where as hard on Luis as him. Not sure if it’s because Briana loves him or hates him but... this made me smile.

That's why Devoin tries his best to include her in his activities with Nova. He does it for this exact reason, just so she won't feel left out or jealous.

Man somehow I really like Amber being so positive and everything so I guess we Amber changed but will never know till she returns back to Teen Mom OG. Also, Briana always gives chances to Louis to see his daughter but still saying the same word that he shouldn't see his daughter again over and over again. I kind of felt bad for Stella like she doesn't have a good relationship with Louis because he's barely around and I think he's gonna be like Kail's dad and Briana's dad who left there daughter and don't want nothing to do with them again.

I lived through a situation with my sister and niece like this. When my niece was about stella's age her bio dad came around. Got weekend visits and could take her. I will never forget the first few times of us putting her in her carseat to go and she was screaming and crying so badly. Now she is 23 and he is a grandpa to her kids. They weren't close for years, but she will grow up and make her choice.

my heart breaks for stella ... honestly i been through the situation where i lived 5mins from my mom my whole life and she never came for me , never asked for me , nothing .. when she lost custody to my father it was like i didnt exist to her and she came back into my life , my father left that decision to me even though he voiced his opinion and i allowed her to be apart of my life for nohing , for her to just continue to hurt me and sometimes i wish she would of just stood away, would of saved me alot of heartache but then again im like i have good memories too that i can atleast say i had some memories with her ...

Dont force it! I was so mad my mom made me see my dad when he was using or just being stupid even when I was small
