Really nice synopsis on this TYM 2515. You get a lot of bang for the buck. As a Kubota owner, I say Kubota start sharpening your pencil because this is a serious competition with crazy lift numbers in the compact size. Thanks for sharing, others are saying close to the same thing. Im liking TYM.

I have an LS XR3140 cab tractor. I paid 29500 with 3rd function and filled tires. The Kubota L4060, with less specs, would have been 43000 and then extra for 3rd function and loaded tires. Kubota and Deere are priced way to high IMO for an average person. I wanted a cab tractor and simply could not afford Kubota or Deere. There are no TYM dealers near me at all or I would have looked at them as well.

TYM sure is becoming more visible on KZread. I really like the 2515h, with the 2200# lifting cap on front bucket and increased lift on 3 pt. Lately noticed the comparison of the 2515 to T474. Similar lifting capacity, front and rear, but of course higher HP. Then with T474 getting the extra features of remote lever control of 3pt at rear of tractor and telescoping lower arms, of which 2515 doesn't offer right now, my understanding. Brad, You're a great Representative of products, and I hope TYM will sponsor you with one of their tractors; which will help all of your viewers!! GOD Bless You

The T474 is definitely a larger frame tractor than the 2515....might be a bit too big for what we need, but it does come with a cab at a reasonable price. I can see why the 2515 is a popular model.....I wish it was a little bigger in frame size. I would like to use a 4815 with a cab to evaluate it fully! Thanks for watching.

I own a Branson 2515r, bought in 21' before the merger and price increase. Bought it for all the reasons you discussed. Been a great machine. Just ticked over 500 hours today.. Zero need for dealer since i bought it. Other than to get rear remote upgrade I put in myself. Tractor will lift what she says. Obvious notes of ballast and safety when dealing with those weights.. enjoy the channel keep it coming.

1st time tractor owner here. Did 3-years of research (needed to save some too!) and bought the 2515h in March. About 30-hours on it now and has been amazing. Moved lots of LARGE logs this weekend on unstable terrain and limited the loader but was able to move the logs with the backhoe was a solid counter-weight. IMHO, TYM is the next Kubota, as they were to Deere in the next 10-20 years, guaranteed. Finally, the big frame is also very heavy thus keeps weight to the ground. Lots of value from this model and I can see homesteaders getting behind this model and TYM in general. Good review now go read the forums and learn and share more…would love to see parts availability compete with the other big brands!

This is a great video for those that are on the fence when it comes to brands. I did extensive research on these class and size tractors before we bought ours. Buying the 2515h ended up being a very good decision for our needs. ALL tractor models and brands demand PM's and care. That being said, @Piney Grove Homestead did a very good job comparing what he has vs. the 2515h.

Great video, Brad! I’ve been looking at TYM for quite some time and they seem like the best value I can find. If you’re looking for 40hp with a cab, my thought is you might be happier with the T474. It has a lot more standard features and more pto hp that I wouldn’t think is worth giving up because of the DPF on the Kukje engine the T474 has. I can’t speak from experience with TYM but I am placing an order with my dealer for a T574 for my 20 acre property this week and hope I like it as much as I think I will. I’m looking forward to seeing what will work best on Piney Grove!

I still have my L2501 and like it. When the time came to step up in capability I started the shopping process from the beginning again but with a Kubota preference. I bought a T474HC. When I outfitted the Kubota with the same equipment that is standard on the TYM the price was about 20k more. TYM is by far the best value of any brand in my local area and we have them all. I still really like my Kubota but if I ever shop again I’ll start with TYM barring any future problems. If you’re shopping you’re hurting yourself if you don’t at least look at TYM. I really enjoy your videos.

I have a tym 474. Im in Michigan. My priorities when buying it was being able to lift my 1500 pound round bales, having hydrostat so my wife would drive it, and having a heated cab for the winter. I had an open station massey before that I loved, but TYM was $18000 less money for a cab tractor than massey, john deere, or anyone els. If I trade tractors again, I will get 24 inch rear rims. THere is much larger selection of tires available in 24 inch rims for more liquid ballast capacity. THis tym is a little clunky. THe rear remote levers, like he said, are very short, and awkward to operate. My range selector doesnt move smoothly. The 3 point lever inside the cab is short and too close to the seat. Like I said, the tractor is a little clunky, but for the money, it does everything I want it to do. Im happy with it overall.

Badboy 4025H is the same tractor in a different color. Those engines are actually 35hp engines turned down to 25hp so you have much more torque than a standard 25hp tractor. We have used ours on the farm for about 6 months doing round bale feeding, running a box blade and just recently running a flail mower. I am able to run a 5' flail mower just fine in low in thick grass with this tractor.

My neighbor down the road purchased one of these Korean tractors in 60 something up with a cab. He purchased it in March of this year and has about 100 hours on it already and it’s been back to the shop about four times already. And need to say that shop is 80 miles away! Kubota is 12 miles away.

Unless the TYM is a lot heavier than the 3901 I think 2200# might not be a great idea. I agree we are all adults and these are adult tractors. The routing of the throttle cable linked to the hydro-static pedals wasn't good and it broke the cable before 50 hours. I rerouted it just a little and it has been fine since. The 2515 was specifically designed to compete with and beat the Kubota.

The Summit is a small frame with 2 speed hydro, full of options, and about $7K cheaper than the TYM -- it would be even more separation in price if you fill the TYM rear tires with RimGuard, add 3rd function and a rear remote and upgrade to R14 tires. Kioti & TYM clobbering Kubota, and rightly so. TYM 2515 non-hydro cab could offset cab's AC hp drain. Also, make 3rd function & 3 rear remotes std. There is zero price sensitivity, only product sensitivity. Focus on product and inspired consumers will rationalize price. Loaded product permits those with need to finance a more attractive process. God bless. TFS.

I'm not convinced when manufacturers other than Kubota claim high capacity such as lift that it is either accurate or safe. By safe what I mean is they may turn it up as the risk of harming the reliability of the tractor long term. I'm just suggesting or saying this without knowing if it is true. But, why wouldn't Kubota offer higher capacities for the FEL or PTO if it was safe to do so? I could argue they may want consumers to buy up .... Just skeptical.

Kubota is on track to lose major market share in this segment because they refuse to update the design of their standard L series. The problem with Kubota is 1) high prices 2) treadle pedal 3) fuel filler location 4) low lift capacity 5) no rear remotes standard 6) no cab option. The Korean’s are hitting Kubota where it hurts.

I agree that Kubota is pricing themselves out of a lot of sales but they are still #2 behind John Deere and way ahead of the rest of the tractor manufactures. They have updated the L-series twice since 2014. I had the L3800, now I have the L3901 and the L3902 is out with a lot of upgrades. I love the treadle pedal and Kubota would switch to 2 pedals if they thought that was hurting sales. Very few tractors come with rear remotes standard to include this TYM 2515. Thanks for watching. Guess it depends on what you need, a weekender or KZreadr can get away with a cheap knock off, but the guy that depends on making a living with equipment would probably go deere, Kubota, Massey. I do have a 50hp off brand tractor that i leave in the woods where im working and its been dependable for years. If i had to start over again id probably go Kubota again

Kubota and John Deere have ignored their compact customers and not rectified, will lose millions of new customers to the Korean market. Kubota and Deere compact tractors are to light in weight and to weak in lift capacities and they nickel and dime their buyers on features that are standard on Korean models. No split brakes = DEALBREAKER! After that, what it can lift is irrelevant. I didn’t know this tractor only had a single brake pedal. That’s the same with Kioti CK series. In my opinion that makes zero sense on a tractor this size. What a joke. C’mon TYM… I have a 42 year old 25hp Ford compact tractor this size and I use my split brakes regularly. Its biggest faults are parts availability and wimpy loader capacity.
