I got the little Hot Rod Simplex after watching your video's It works just fine for me a Noob at best. I like it for now Thanks !

If your not going near the beach the Simplex+ and new ultra are great machines and you probably wont need to upgrade. If you plan on going to the beach often a Multi Frequency machine will be far better. The new Nokta Score series or Minelab Vanquish series are good beginner beach detectors.
