It's a great app, and works really well, especially for PSA and BGS. Works for others slabs also. Newer cards tend to be a bit tough to find but not surprising with lack of sales and grading history. They do a great job of updating info in the app to keep the data as current as possible. Thanks Geoff and your entire crew for providing great tools for the hobby.

Appreciate all you do for the hobby. Recently back in the hobby after a 20 year absence. I have to say it's been a mostly positive experience thus far. It is still very intimidating being new in the hobby and figuring out everything that's changed. From the prices of cards,grading companies,"the art of the deal"etc. Thank you for all the guidance on your channel. ❤️

Ridiculous...when I was a kid, my biggest card was a '91 Pro Set Emmitt Smith. Where do these kids get all this money? Must be nice to have rich parents.

Some kids believe it or not know how to hustle bro! Not saying some kids don’t have rich parents bc they do. But hey that’s their blessing. Can’t knock ‘em for that. At least they are blessing the hobby we love with activity.

I cut lawns starting around the age of 10. Had about 4 lawns on my street I did each week averaging about $20 per lawn. With that being said, I collected Nolan Ryan cards starting in 1988, but even thinking about spending $100 on a card was only a wet dream 😂. There's a chance some of these kids do something to make money, but not likely and yes, it's because they have rich parents. While you can't knock parents for being rich, and there is no jealousy here as I've been an Aerospace Engineer for 20 years now, I guarantee you 90% of "rich parents" in my generation are not because they are successful, it's because there parents willed them their houses or money when they died.

I’ll admit I’d be the first to laugh at Geoff when Sports Card Radio rags on him (Will Grier) but it is really awesome what he does for the kids, gotta respect it

Geoff, on your trade night I was the first person you approached (Burrow Green Scope /75 you wanted to get for your son). Well, that was also my Hurts when you were at my table and i later traded to that kid that is standing next to you. Small world.

I put this card on lay a way 32 years ago. I paid $100.00 for it. Then I saw Jose tech then bounce a fly ball off his head for a homer. He seems like a great dude. Awesome athlete also.

When I was a kid, I could only dream of the 89 Upper Deck Griffey Jr. Once I finally landed the 89 Donruss, I thought I was the man.

You're an awesome dude Jeff don't ever change buddy keep doing what you're doing for these youngsters I've been collecting for 40 years I lost my biggest collection someone broke in my house and stole it while I was working I recently started over though but I don't have the The collection I once had but having stage 3 colon cancer I got a lot of spare time but my collections back up and running God bless you for what you do man

I love watching you dealing with the kids - it's so important to teach them the hobby to keep it strong moving forward. Short story - I was at a Trade Day last year and there was a young guy there who had a ball patch, worth about $250 that I was keen for, so I gave him a box of my cards to go through and said take out what you want and we'll work something out. After about 10 minutes he had pulled one card that was worth about $5 out and wanted to do that trade. I said nah mate, but what we'll do is this and went through my pile and traded him about 30 odd different cards for the ball patch...his eyes lit up like it was Christmas when he saw my counter offer.

Just went on a cruise it just so happened the 49ers were there not all of them, Bubba and other retirees also arik armstead was on ship. Got to talk to them love that bubba they signed everything 🤗

Biggest disgrace in the hobby is modern day autographs...Players of today give you their initials the majority of the time...not their autograph...card companies let them get away with it....Check out the autos from pre 2000...Almost all are beautiful full autos...Sad situation ...

I agree I’m 14 blessed with a great life and I’ve made over $1000 from Patrick MAHOMES rated rookie cards from retail and that still doesn’t come close to every other kid at these card shows

Don’t do any of the mystery pulls/mystery slabs. Also watch out for people who overvalue their cards and don’t tell you sold comps. If you buy anything make sure your able to negotiate, and are able to look up comps. Anybody can be allowed to sell on whatnot so it’s hard recommending one person

And dude loves it. I’ve been to shows where he is and he acts like the whole show should stop because he enters the show floor. Watch when he does a full shot in his previous videos of the people at the tables in the background. I’ll fill in the audio for ya of what people are calling him, lots of words you wouldn’t want your kids to hear.
