Yes yes yes you need to launch your own brand and it doesn’t need to be a large collection. It can even be 1-2 products you develop and love. Even though I am an architect I have been exposed to business through Gavin my husband. It’s been an eye opener and it gives me confidence to just go for it. Don’t think too much about it. Enjoy the process of creating it and then just be proud of it. You have a huge advantage in that you know how to create excellent social media, you’re a model, you are fashionable… Bri- GO FOR IT!

Thank you Aletha, this was so so encouraging! I had this chat now with my family here and expressed how I don't want to create just another brand just for the sake of it, for me - I really want to be passionate about it, so I am still figuring it out. My cousin pointed it out that I seem to be passionate about my faith and that maybe I should explore that too, so we'll see! x

Go for it launching your own brand jewellery , handbags. Hair accessories go for it you will never know unless you try 🎉 yes it is daunting however you made it this far you can do it 🎉🎉🎉

You've obviously got a lot of thoughts and ideas swirling around in your head. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer, everyone has to find their own path in life. Starting your own brand obviously comes with potential rewards but also stress and the risk of failure. That's not to say you shouldn't do it, but you should prepare yourself mentally as well as in terms of business skills like accounting, finance and marketing.

There is no doubt that you will be successful at whatever you decide to do! It may be that you need to try out several things before you hit on THE one thing that is meant for you. Your new iPad is an investment in your future; you will be able to work from anywhere. I remember back in your flight attendant days, I always loved seeing the places you went with your friends...what you wore, your makeup and accessories, what you ate. I'm not talking about when you were working, but on your time off and for fun! I also think jewelry would be fun. Once you get going, the possibilities are endless!

I think you should launch a podcast instead of a brand. Because you are incredibly well spoken and I would listen to your podcast about life and god and travel and brands and social media. You could be the Middle East Call Her Daddy (podcast) and you could interview regular people not celebrities or influencers but people with interesting stories to tell ❤

Thank you Paula! ❤️ I used to always say to my ex-colleague that we should launch a podcast but one thing stopping me is the strict rules surrounding certain topics in this region. So I will have to really think about what topics could work for me - but yeah, overall this is something that has definitely been on my mind.

Sometimes we just need to take a leap of faith! You never know if you’ll postpone your idea untill next year etc it will be actually available then☺️ I would say if you feel like it is a comfortable moment on your life time, budget wise etc - go for it! I work full time and trying to develop some new skills in my free time but its been really hard sometimes. I actually admire soo much girls that takes some courage to leave job aside if it doesn’t fulfill them 100% and focus on their business. Fingers crossed for you❤ btw I’ve inherited old ipad from my husband and its been life changing😂!

if you want to build a product, i think you should do some basic research about the product, how hard it is to source, or produce, how saturated the market is etc then it could help you steer to what kind of area you want to be in and how to shape your brand and which direction you want to go in.

Thank you Yasmin! I adore jewelry since I was a child and always found every little jewelry piece I was gifted so significant and meaningful, so it’s definitely something up my alley. I don’t think clothing is a strength/RTW would be my forte.

I subscribe to one of your Emirates co-workers, Maria Soldatova (@skyflygirl). She started a line of jewelry before she resigned from Emirates. Have you talked to her? She seems like a smart entrepreneur, and would probably have some good ideas. You could have a lunch with her and 'pick her brain'.... I spent a lot of time in Dubai during the years I worked at ARAMCO, and I always wanted to live there. Seems like the best place in the world to be an entrepreneur. You are a smart and talented girl. If you put your mind to it, you'll figure something out.

I like skyflygirl's channel and Maria seems like a helpful and intelligent person. I think it would be fine to ask her for general advice, but on the other hand asking her about starting a jewellery brand seems a bit too much. Brigita would be a direct competitor. (That is just my perspective).
