MRAD of course. Maybe it's less accurate, but much easier to count.

Apparently the finer precision of MOA is too small relative to actual marksmanship capabilities, and it can get annoying to click a lot of times

@@BenOgorekMOA and mils can yield the identical results or results divergent enough for there to be a better result from one over the other. If you shoot to zero and are .25 MOA off zero then MOA will deliver a better zero. If you are .36 off zero then you can get a better zero from mil adjustment. I am an NRA American High Power Rifleman in Long-Range Award Winner, US Distinguished Rifleman, and CMP-USAMU Military Rifle Instructor assisting the USAMU deliver SDM Training and most of this activity demands MOA and mil knowledge: wind constants in MOA, zeroing in MOA, and ranging in mils. So, from my experience, since you can no longer find optics with mil scale reticle and MOA dials, buy MOA because it better describes inches at target distance: MOA is about 1 inch at 100 yards, 2 inches at 200 yards, 3 inches at 300 yards …. and so on, meaning very easy in head math to quickly understand the sight adjustment or hold off need. Example: your bullet hit 12 inches off aim at 400 yards where 1 MOA equals about 4 inches. So, how many of those MOAs fit in 12 inches. That’s easy, 3 of them and if you have 1/4 MOA clicks, you would take 12 clicks. Finally, a good shooter can easily discern and adjust sight to realize a 1/4 MOA adjustment.
