I honestly kind of think he's being ostracized...like the girl who spoke seems like the ringleader and the other one her sidekick or something. I think they're suffering from an inferiority complex--he's the tallest, smart as all hell, and got a sweet nice personality. In Korea, modelling is nowhere near as respected as being a chemist or a scientist. I think they're jealous that he has two options, the best of both worlds. I feel bad for him. I hope he can see that and that he realizes his worth.

But most companies do look for unique features

Compared to everyone in the audience he's honestly the most attractive and interesting. There is something special about him that does not just come from looks or talent, it can not be created or learned.

To be honest, it's his uniqueness to EVERYONE else in his college that will allow him to debut! Celebrities are always different, something unique. He's a tall, funny AND smart guy who's willing to try and the way he speaks is really interesting and fun! He'll be more successful than his classmates if he continues this path.

Honestly, this was one of the most hilarious episodes I’ve seen of Hello Counselor, despite them saying he isn’t funny, even though they were just joking. He is so cute and I can really see him making it as a model. I’LL ROOT FOR YOU AND YOUR DREAMS OF BECOMING A MODEL!!!! HWAITING!!!!

yeah i just don't think he fits in with the modeling world, because he's got the witty humor that usually goes over well with certain professionals/engineering types etc. Sounds offensive, but models and gen pop aren't exactly the smartest bunch and stuff like that makes you seen as weird. He can learn how to walk and pose, and along the way he'd gain confidence. Modelling is a skill that you can learn. I think being a science student myself I understand why they don't find him funny but I will actually enjoy his company. People don't believe in but what you study or major in affects how you talk & how you act also he took only 1 class on walking they expecting him to master it in a single attempt.

Call me weird, but I like his voice very deep. He just has to refine it nothing wrong with it. In terms of his overall persona, seems enduring and sweet. He can be known as the sweet model. I love his personality. I'm dealing with something similar. I am tall (6') and I guess I am good looking enough because everyone has told me since I was young that I should do modeling. But I am very shy and unconfident. My group is kinda nerdy you know. I am an athlete, musician, and get good grades (I'll be attending Georgia Tech next school year), but I always feel that I won't fit into the modeling scene. It seems like a place for more charismatic and confident people, but I think modeling would be cool and can help me build my confidence. Now I also slightly want to do modeling not only for those purposes and my love for Naomi Campbell (my dad is a fashion designer for men's suits and has taught me to idolize her cuz her walk is just amazing) but to possibly meet people that have helped me be happier. It'd be awesome to meet someone like Han Hyunmin (I'm only 5 days older than him apparently haha) as a plus if I ever do make it in the modeling world (I'd be doing mostly for me ofc that's so creepy to do it just to get close to someone haha). Anyway, my point in all of this is that many careers and lifestyles have these stereotypes for how the person should act. Why can't there be a smart model or a handsome scientist? I believe that with the right mindset and practice, he can do it. Shy people can learn to be sociable and charismatic in their own way (I actually think he is an extrovert pretty clearly). I wish him well in whatever he chooses to do.

amberly b. Thats not because hes korean but because he actually has some features that look similar to jins or namjoons. Its not even just the face itself, also facial expression.

It's not because he's korean, it's mostly because he has a lot of that confidence and (bad) jokes that is similar to Jin's and also the facial expressiones when he gets embarassed or when he is laughing which looks like Namjoon and Shownu.

Not a lot of people understand him or his humor, and he gets sad from it :(( (He has Aspergers) and it’s sometimes hard to make friends with the way he is :(( He’s doing better tho!! That's like someone dropping out of med school when they are the top of their class to be a model there's nothing wrong with it but it makes people curious like you had a good job in line and you were smart why drop that there's nothing fake about that no one in this video was harsh at all

He is very brave and inspiring. For me, I have only studied and only thought about the ranks of the schools I attended and the prestige of the degree I take. So, if I don't meet them I get anxious and depressed. I would never take such a huge jump in my life. It's not easy to change from a secure degree to a risky degree. The fact he did that and shows no regrets despite all his current limitations and failures, is very, very inspiring. He is happier than many of us.

I've had that thought for soooo long! I only just realized after battling with lots of insecurities relating to getting into a schools that are well known and of high prestige. But in reality if you know what your interested, passionate and feel joy in and then honestly strive in that field then no matter what school you go to you'll be happy.

At first I was like "Why is everyone in the audience so handsome" Then minutes later I found out their models. His so handsomeeeeee and he looked better after the transformation

I think he is wonderful the way he is. So unique! Definitely can make a career. And so kind, in opposite to most models being so arrogant and looking down on people. And he looks good without any changes.

Maybe he should find friends who share the same interests and humour with him. I doubt that many model students(including his friends) "get" that kind of personality he has. That being said, I don't think there's anything wrong with him, it's just that he and his friends don't have much in common, so he comes off as weird/awkward. Maybe he should get into sciences instead, where he could find a lot of likeminded people.

OMG! Finally found the one😂 -- glasses, nerdy feel, awkwardly adorable, weird sense of humour, cute (not just the face, but the overall vibe).. I feel like we're on the same wavelength (being a science student and all).. I think he's funny.. I've been looking all over for someone like him(passively).. might need to move to Korea now. 🤔
