When purchasing a home that has cast iron pipes, most buyers are scared to go through with the purchase because they begin to think about the high price tag that can come with replacing them.

I bought a house from 1915 with all cast iron pipes, then I had a problem of cloged pipes so I just rent an electric snake at Home Depot and it removed the clog easily, so I am still using the cast iron pipes with more than a 100 years old and had no problems even if they are not in good condition as a plumber would like.

Your house has a sub floor so abs repipe is super easy remember every foot waste line should drop 1/4 inch every foot.

Good video thaank you. My cast iron pipes look really great for some reason. Home built in 1966. They are in a soft pumice-like material and the house was engineed after the fact to take the load using caissons.
