Nothing wrong with videoing your play…..it’s a precursor to the big stage on the LPGA with the big network cameras. My opinion is simply it gets you in a comfort zone. Good for you Gabby!! Rooting for you all the way!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

It’s amazing that you scored what you scored, given you were doing running commentary on your own round, I’d be all tired out with a dry mouth if I did that! Once you’ve practiced all putting elevations on that course those strokes will start tumbling.

You probably have more footage of you than anyone. I don't see a problem with that. It gives you all kinds of opportunities to observe your swing. My guess is that this is not the main reason you're filming yourself, but it is great for review.

Filming is fine, but PGA/LPGA don’t talk and narrate themselves the entire round. That would not be OK and not fair to your playing mates to deal with that distraction. If they can’t hear you, I don’t see any issues! Play well gabby!

Awesome video production for a tournament, along with commentary! Regarding people laughing and recording, I will say I was close to being one of those people while watching your KZread shorts, but then I realized you are sharing the content trying to grow the game of golf. Filming is awesome! But the level of commentary and talking during a tournament is not respectful to her playing partners. Really not trying to dog Gabby because I love and watch her videos but they don’t choose to get paired with her and no one in other groups (or any tournament at any level) deals with that kinda distraction. You would never see Bryan Bros talking like this while they film they events

You're my favorite golf content creator and I love what you're doing. IMO i say it's fine as long as you're also complimenting your group on good shots as I hear them doing for you and you're also helping to remove and replace the pin and not just walking off the green after you ask them if you can finish your short putts. I wish you all the success in the world!

I'll answer before i watch this. It's completely up to the organizers of the tournament. In a public area, in your own home, or on your own property, you have a constitutional right to film whatever you choose. If you participate in a privately held event such as a golf tournament, the organizers can implement any rules they choose as long as they're not discriminatory. If they prohibit filming, you must adhere to their rules and refrain from filming. You can also choose not to participate if you don't like their rules. If they were to implement a dress code that stated participants and spectators cannot wear clothing with political affiliations or logos, you would have to follow their dress code if you wanted to participate or spectate. Our constitutional rights protect us from interference, intrusion, restrictions, and retaliation from our government and not necessarily from other private organizations.

14-18 greens and +3 scorre is not bad, I'll take that every time with my weekend golf. Tourname golf is different, so yea, its about the putting and saving those ups and downs, so chipping as just as important as the putting. Good luck going forward, putting is state of mind, when start off making them, seems you have a state of mind you can make them all and yuo make more. When ou start off missing a few, that bad state of mind sets in and you have to fight and overcome that bad state of mind early in the round with missed putts. Key with this is, you have to totally forget about the last, and past, holes, and focus on the current and present to control that positive state of mind early in rounds. You got this!!!!

Yes. You should be allowed to film. Cameras have made filming a part of modern life. Its part of your golf career. Its a public sport. There is no reason you shouldnt be permitted to film. You will run into people who will be resistant to ANYTHING you want to do - especially if you are successful, be respectful but tell them to pound sand. Do your thing Gabber. Tough putting today -- thats just how it goes, but you have the best attitude & a mature mental game...I expect youll rebound like the future champion you are. Keep crushing!

Tough day rolling the rock but your emotional management and your ability to find the positive aspects of your round are really impressive! Golf is fickle. Love your commentary and your strategic analysis of course management. Your understanding of golf and emotional maturity are way beyond your years. Super impressive! This is why I enjoy your channel. I presume the drone footage is not taken during the course of competition. I would find the sound of an overhead drone to be very annoying during competition. You appear to be considerate to your competitors as your commentary is done out of earshot. As long as the camera person is not slowing play and your competitors are OK with the filming process I see no reason against your quest to bring this to KZread. If you are respectful to those that do not want filming during competition you are standing on the moral high ground. There will always be people who want to gossip and hate on others for a variety of reasons that are beyond your control. Just be sweet, kind, and non-judgmental as you come across those people and live your truth! Nice video and beautiful golf course!!!

Saying that, remember that most courses are private property and they set the rules. Most won't complain but when you get to tournament level events, there may be certain media rights. Just look over the rules, may be exclusions, but if there is not, respect the game and the course. As you know, half the fun is who you are golfing with. Enjoy everything.

I watched a little bit of the Women's U.S. Open, and most of the women seemed to get a lot closer to the greens on the par 5s after their second shots than Gabby normally did at this tournament. Then they chipped pretty close to the hole. I guess when Gabby gets older, she will be able to increase her distance off the tee and on her second shot, and still keep the shots in the fairway like she regularly does.
