What about Corruption in Yes Bank? and their cooking of accounting books. White collar Corruption in private banks is also big problem. How can we forget about ICICI Bank's Chanda Kochhar incident. The need of hour is to stop political interference in govt banks by giving them more autonomy. SBI Bank is still highly profitable and their Mobile Banking App YONO is superior to HDFC Bank Mobile banking App.

Don't blame clerks n managers n small employees for the loss. The corporate npas are because of political pressure. MPs n Ministers force Bank officials to give loans to their friends. There are a few question arises from this video : 1. Are corporates or private banks ready to serve in the rural part of country if we privatise govt banks ? 2. Is this really a good decission to allow big corporate houses to open banks because we all know where will money of those banks will be parked in form of loans. 3. What about regional rural banks - the main aim behind the establishment of rrbs was to cater the needs of agricultural or rural population because private banks were not ready to open branches. 4.What about the belief system which people of india have in govt banks.Like when there is need GOI Pumps funds in these banks but if a Private bank goes short on funds will GOI do the same. 5 As you said the main problem in Government banks is lending its not the staff.Yes i know there are a few cases where govt banks employees don't work efficiently but this is not the case with everyone.I think you should qualify the exam of State bank of india PO and get a seat for yourself and then work for 10am to 9 pm.You will know the reality of work bankers do.So please stop spreading this propaganda ki lunchkebaadaana. For your kind information some don't even have the time to do lunch. 6. And yes this 10 min video of depicts nothing except few data points which one can easily find on google.

All major defaults of loans comes from the corporate sector as you mentioned here. Compare to private banks, they are also provides these loan but with carefully checking their financials, credibility and without pressure of the Centre or state govt. Major root of the problem is government's politics who used these PSBs for their political interest like Loan waiver announcements.. If they could grant money to them to educate their staff, investment in technological advancement, stop their political interest I strongly felt that these PSBs will doing better than private banks because they have vast confidence of their customers and their cost of lending also small.

Privatisation of Govt. banks is not an ultimate solution. Government also needs to take care of employment. Every year lakhs of students appear for Banking job exams. So, before privatisation govt. must ensure that private banks should also follow the same procedure just like the Govt. Banks during recruitment.

Sir I am a psu bank employee served in a rural branch of WB.many persons are very happy with the govt decision of bank privatisation.Either they have no knowledge how these banks operates in rural areas where a person even dont know how to write or they have their personal benifits.we have massive shortage of staffs. We face massive footfall where we have to serve more than 500 people a day for various works. We have thousands of subsidesed accounts where govt subsidy comes.people comes from very far places by walking as no other transportation available. people in town or city cant imagine how these banks works.people forget how these banks works at the time of demonitization.Government just gives order without proper planning or infrastructure or manpower rather they put tremendous work load. But still we serve.what about private banks?are they serve these areas or they serve only to those few selected people. And if a psu have fund crisis government gives money but what happened when private banks become bankrupt?what happened to yes bank?why government put pressure on sbi to take over yes bank?Is this fault of sbi?no infrastructure no man power tremendous work load due to governments daily new schemes are these factors not responsible for degradation of psu banks?

I would like raise a few points. 1. Private banks like yes bank and icici also have some incidences of poor conduct . The videocon Npa of icici and the crisis of yes bank, which was later bailed out by a government owned bank that is sbi by buying a large share in the bank , are good examples of corrupt and poor practices in private banks as well. However, they have performed better when compared to smaller public sector commercial banks which are burdened by providing cheap and essential financial services to unbanked and underbanked sections . 2. If there is a corporate loan that has failed then the owner of the corporation must not be allowed to hitchhike to another country there should be strict laws to stop this kind of thing. 3. Farm loan waivers are a huge burden on the financial strength of the country. Whether it is the reinjecting of capital into the banks or it is money set aside by the government from its funds, in the end it is the taxpayer that is going to pay for it.

Time for aspirants and also employees to understand that its better to privatise else a decade from now we will see psu/govt banks sinking like BSNL/MTNL. A good attempt. Some more points to consider. Cases of frivolous lending practices have happened both in private as well as public banks. As far as kingfisher airlines is concerned, I believe our state run airline is also loss making and a bigger cash guzzler. But fortunately for them "restructuring options" are easily available to them. As far as privatisation of psb's are concerned, it has to be a slow and cautious process with strengthening at their board level, for better governance and alignment with laid down guidelines. But privatisation is an eventuality which we have to come to terms with for the general good.

MPs n Ministers force Bank officials to give loans to their friends Like Anil Ambani, Adani, Mallya, Nirav Modi etc. So under pressure the IAS n Babus do this to help politicians. After disbursing loans These IAS are transferred to other organisation. Politicians can't do the same in Private banks. so politicians themselves are responsible for the loss of psu banks.

Aur uski wajah se fraud aur defaulter ratio down aayegi. Aur specially RBI ki bhi ek committee ya department yah sabse connected honi chahiye.

Time for aspirants and also employees to understand that its better to privatise else a decade from now we will see psu/govt banks sinking like BSNL/MTNL. Government and tax payers cannot sustain repeated bailouts of these white elephants. Also privatization will atleast give some chance for survival of these organizations in some form or other for e.g., Axis Bank.

Part 2 4) now let's talk about the last topic and very much important m s m e . which means loan to small and medium scale industry many time well grow industry comes to nationalised bank for getting cash credit. nationalised bank will summarise companies balance sheet , as an example if industry having audited turnover of rupees hundred crore as per turnover company they are eligible for cash credit rupees 25 cr to 30 cr , it depend how turnover is calculated. the basic method for calculation is how much a particular industry paid there GST on GST return. from this nationalised bank will get actual figure what is there annual turnover. now let's talk about private bank in same scenario they never bother about turnover they are only deal with Collateral property in Above case the company will get 60 cr to 80 cr as a cash credit . How they come to calculate cash credit limit which is too high we don't know. conclusion nationalised bank follows RBI guideline which issue day by day, but in private bank they have their own guidelines we don't know what is the purpose and what kind of private bank doing there business. our question is, if RBI provided guideline which comes by proper research , committee and discussion are they inappropriate . nationalised bank never think that no one will be default that's why they are calculating repaying capacity ,profit earning ratio etc. but private bank are never bothered about out such kinds of ratio. and most important after calculating all kind of ratio still account will become npa more in nationalised bank as compare to private bank what kind of strategy they are applying. It clearly understant the private bank sanction loan only those people w h o m capable to repair there due ,they never invest entrepreneur and no matter to them how there client earn profit by tax defaulting , tax hiding or hawala etc.such kinds of practices are promoted by private bank if nationalised bank become a private then those people who are not paying their tax are getting promoted and they are habitual to not pay their tax. it ultimately effect our country development. my request is kindly think about it what we are promoting nation development or Nation selling. thank you,
