27:37 - "When we are in God's will - when we are obeying His Word - we are in the best place we can possibly be." Such a well thought out answer. Bob's the best! Thanks for the conversation! 👊

Excellent and most helpful interview! Thank you brothers! Biblical theology applies to every aspect of God‘s plan with life, in and out of the church. This is ever so refreshing! ♥️ 🙏

Thank you so very much for discussing this. I am a worship minister and have been feeling that my firm stance on this is much different than my peers among our local network of churches. This was very encouraging to me. God Bless!

Questions that seem so 'murky' become clear when a person or persons just focus on what scripture says.

So helpful. An already held conviction has been fleshed out and given more biblical clarity.

There's also the issue of unbelievers in a music team singing lyrics that they have no intention of living out because they don't believe the words are true

@7:00 what is your thought on using events such as Father's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Christmas, Valentines Day, All Saints Day etc as a means for Evangelism for the Church to invite folks? Should evangelism be the main focus of the Church during the Service and accommodate visitors or should the service be focus on Worshipping God and reflecting on His glory on those events - accommodating only its members?

That's a great question. Cultural holidays can influence what we might mention in a particular meeting, but the reason we gather doesn't change - to build up the church in the word and gospel of Jesus Christ by the power of the Spirit for the glory of God. I wouldn't say we are "accommodating" members as being faithful to what God has called us to do as shepherds of his flock (1 Pet. 5:2-5).

This is though how it is allowed in musicians and singers staet to view it as a gig rather then what its supposed to be the temple, worship and a place of change or at least clarity then the outside world

If a Church believes it is ok to have unbelievers front and center on their music team for the church members as well as the visitors then that Church has just crossed the line and is a business attempting to do what is best for the bottom line. Any church leader that can not find talent among God's people may not be spending enough one on one time with God and with their own church family. Turn the question around. Is it ok for me to be playing on stage at an adult night club while teaching Sunday School? Paul wrote a lot of letters in an attempt to straighten this kind of thinking out.

To me, it's a clear position of leadership (being a frontline role during the service) - so no

Why not have "non-believers" as Sunday School teachers, Deacons, etc.?

What if they believe 100% of the pastor's sermon or every time, without fail? Or 99%? 50%? Does anyone only allow the 62% believer (which would be a 38% "unbeliever") to attend only 62% of the time? Can't the musician OR ANYONE also increase in faith, and isn't their presence and contribution good enough for "allowance" to exist in that space AND to give of their time and talent?

I think unbelievers should not because they would be profane worship

Yes! We are inclined to pursue "professionalism" - Not just on our worship teams, but, God forbid! In our pulpits!

The church is for the elect. I disagree with this as we should not allow wolves to be in charge of worship.
