Hecz never fails to impress with his genuine passion and respect, making it impossible not to keep tuning in. It's incredible how he inspires me to improve in all aspects of life. Thanks to the mental growth I've experienced, I just want to give a huge shout-out to the OpTic crew. Keep up the phenomenal work, because you all are absolutely killing it!

On what Shotzzy said about the breaks. He is ABSOLUTELY spot on. The amount of breaks/ countdowns really turns me away from matches. I really only stayed for OpTic matches because that’s the only team I knew/liked. Having that dynamic behind the scenes would expand my knowledge on different players and make me want to watch them.

I currently live in Nebraska and feel like if they hosted a cod event it would actually be a really good event. The culture diversity in Lincoln & Omaha are really surprising to people. Not only that but we are very central in the Midwest so it would make it drivable for a lot of nearby states. Another great thing is the fact the Nebraska is one of the cheapest states in the US. I would love to have an event here if it were ever possible

That's very true and all, but as someone who grew up in the 80s and 90s I think the point was more that EVERYONE should know how to do basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) without a calculator. I'm not talking about solving complex mathematical equations, but knowing how much change you should receive when you make a cash purchase is useful. Or the ability to do quick, rough math in your head on the fly... Comes in very handy.

Totally agree with Shotzzy. The COD Broadcast can be boring to watch at times with no entertainment between matches or maps. Compared to other esports where they have content in between or actual ads from their sponsors. There's so much more the CDL can do to retain and grow viewership. As well as make content with the actual players, that has so much potential.

I dig the setup of the matches 5 games before a major. But i think they should have the top 2 teams from challengers from the last year of their season and put them in limeup for that year. Maybe it'll give challenger teams to try harder and put on a good ass gane and the fans that dont tune in on them go watch them to see who can join the matches and majors. Also maybe itll give pro team ORGs to have academy teams so they and us can see who can have both teams last even go against the same team. Just a thought lol.

I agree with Hecz that the education system does need to change but the argument that once you find something you are good at you should hone that skill is just wrong. Just because you are good at something doesn't mean you want a career in that. The point of general studies in school is that you want a well-rounded society so that you are not stuck doing something you are good at for the sake of being good at it. I come from the same area as Shotzzy and as a teacher, I would say 75% of students do not care about being in school but they also dont have another skill they are passionate about that they can pursue.
