I don’t want to see any of them boring ass/ meaningless battles, it would do little or get Zero views and not even worth talking about like this battle As opposed to what numbers Shotty was achieving before. The only Uk battler Shotty should Battle who I would like to see is vs Gemini.. I need to see Shotty battle some proper battlers, Shotty vs twork would be fire or vs Geechi Shotty vs Roc, now that’s a proper grudge battle.. norbs said Shotty vs JC would be fire, I agree.. imagine Shotty vs Eazy the block. Haven't seen shotty battle in a few years. Glad I decided to search for him so soon after a battle was released. It just feels like battle rap has been on a decline in the past few years. Lots of big names disappeared and then the pandemic hit and it really put the brakes on things for a bit. Hopefully it can pick back up to where things were about 5-6 years ago and before that.

Tali came with 3 rounds of fire but he didn't prepare for the crowds energy nor how to use the crowds reaction to his benefit. Shotty knows when the crowd will react before it happens. Crowd control is everything

I'm 30 seconds into Shotty's first and you can immediately see the gulf in class.Tali is out of his league, a lot of generic material, didn't Pat Stay said it best "it doesn't mean anything if you could literally say the shit to a ten year old Asian chick".

I hear you bro, it is kind of expected as crowd was majority Manchester/Northern so the Shotty bias was clear. Also, cos he hadn’t battled for a few years Great work with the roofers btw 🙏🏾

Not sure why this battle even happened to be honest. I guess Shotty felt like taking on a mid year opponent to sharpen his sword or something. There are plenty of UK battlers who deserves this more than Tali.

I felt this way big time but maybe I just don’t rate tali at all. I felt this way like three years ago and soul was supposed to battle tali. I guess there was just like enough narrative between them with the whole NLC thing. Either way a good excuse to see shotty !

This just demonstrates why shotty can't battle often, unless its a top tier international - there isn't much risk and so there's not much point. Shotty horroh vs soul, quill or shuffle are his only decent domestic battles

Shotty came correct! Defo no question of that! His character and flow just are light speeds away from most but tali is a beast! His lyrics are not obvious and he also came loaded with content, tali does love his word play, his style to me is quite complex, you need to join the dots in a small amount of time to get it and if you do then it’s killer, i like the less obvious approach he portrays in his performances but sadly it can lose people and we may see a byproduct of that in this battle but that is a shame as he is awesome! Shotty defo holds the room here and for good reason, his dynamic theatrics, facial expressions and water tight sarcasm just eats away at most of his opponents and even know his performance here is slightly toned down compared to earlier shotty videos it becomes apparent he does not need to over animated his character to win over the masses! Both have my respect and put on a great performance.

Shotty sums this one up perfectly - Tali is nowhere near top of NLC hence NLC could have been better represented. Don't get me wrong he done well but was way behind in every aspect of this battle. Got to commend Shotty because the fact he doesn't battle regularly must make it tougher to get in rhythm but he still snashes it. 3-0 Shotty in my eyes - but Tali not disgraced
