༄༅།། དེ་རིང་ཕྱི་ཟླ་༤་པའི་ཚེས་༡༣་སྟེ། རེས་གཟའ་ལྷག་པ་སྐུའི་བླ་གཟའ་དང་སྟབས་བསྟུན་བོད་ཀྱི་ཞོ་སྟོན་རྒྱས་པ་ཐེངས་༢༥་པ་མཇུག་སྒྲིལ་ཡོད་ཅིང་། ཞོ་སྟོན་མཇུག་བསྡུའི་མཛད་སྒོར་བོད་མི་མང་སྤྱི་འཐུས་ཚོགས་གཙོ་མཁན་པོ་བསོད་ནམས་བསྟན་འཕེལ་ཕེབས་དང་ད་ལོའི་ཞོ་སྟོན་རྒྱས་པ་འདི་ཟླ་བ་འདིའི་ཚེས་༦་ནས་མགོ་འཛུགས་ཀྱིས་ཕྱི་ཚེས་༡༣་བར་དུ་ཉིན་བརྒྱད་ལ་ཚོགས་ཏེ་ལྷ་མོའི་ཚོགས་པ་ཁག་བརྒྱད་ཀྱིས་ལྷ་མོའི་འཁྲབ་གཞུང་ཁྱེའུ་པདྨ་འོད་འབར་དང་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་ཉི་མ། ཆོས་རྒྱལ་ནོར་བཟང་དང་སྣང་ས་འོད་འབུམ། འགྲོ་བ་བཟང་མོ། གཅུང་པོ་དོན་ཡོད་དང་དོན་གྲུབ་བཅས་ཀྱི་ལྷ་མོའི་འཁྲབ་གཞུང་མི་འདྲ་བ་ཁག་དྲུག་འཁྲབ་འདུག The Shoton (Opera) festival took place for 8 days from 6th of April with EIGHT different opera troupes participating and performances of six different operas like Pema Woebar, Sukyi Nyima, Choegyal Norsang, Nangsa Woebum, Drowa Sangmo and Chungpo Dhonyo Dhondup. The speaker of Tibetan Parliament Khenpo Tenphel praised the opera troupes for their contribution in the preservation of Tibetan culture such as operas. Mr Sonam Choephel pro term Director of TIPA urged the directors and principals of Tibetan schools as well the settlement officers to encourage Tibetan youngsters to preserve Tibetan culture and support the opera troupes.
