Another great video. I’m looking for to next week’s video focusing on the release. I’ve been shooting a hinge for about 3 yrs now and have had some success with it. My main issue is with release angle consistency during my draw cycle, mainly hitting my click too soon or too late in the shot process.

Thanks Robert! This is all great and very useful information. TToTW is one of those I look forward to. I heard you talk about different types of releases next week. The wrist rocket to me is the most overlooked in instruction prolly due to its simplicity but if done properly, is the most accurate due to its straight line of pull and disconnect from the loop. The closest method to it is a 2 finger due to the least amount of input with the hand. Wrist rockets and 2 fingers are easily the most consistent form of shooting. Could you elaborate more on the wrist rocket style in the future?

I'll go over how I use one in the video next week so it's in there. Thanks for watching and the comment here!

Just shoot 65% let off you will have tension. None of this was an issue years ago.

So glad you brought this up! I used spiral cams and shot 65% let off for years. Learned to hate it. Now I can shoot 70-75% let off and it allows me to settle into anchor, relax the right muscles and not be fighting the bow. Then I can create the tension I want from there. There’s archers that do better with low let off too but I think if you’re not shooting a lot and consistently, 65% is hard to manage.
