श्रीराम के दो पुत्र हुए - लव और कुश। कुश के पुत्र अतिथि हुए। अतिथि के पुत्र का नाम निषध था। निषध के पुत्र नल हुए। नल के पुत्र नभस हुए। नभस के पुत्र का नाम पुण्डरीक था। पुण्डरीक के क्षेमधन्वा नामक पुत्र हुए। क्षेमधन्वा के देवानीक हुए। देवानीक के अहीनगर हुए। अहीनर के पुत्र का नाम रूप था। रूप के रुरु नामक पुत्र हुए। रुरु के पारियात्र नामक पुत्र हुए। पारियात्र के पुत्र का नाम दल था। दल के पुत्र शल हुए। शल के पुत्र का नाम उक्थ था। उक्थ के वज्रनाभ नामक पुत्र हुए। वज्रनाभ से शंखनाभ हुए। शंखनाभ के व्यथिताश्व नामक पुत्र हुए। व्यथिताश्व से विश्‍वसह हुए। विश्वसह के पुत्र का नाम हिरण्यनाभ था। हिरण्यनाभ से पुष्य हुए। पुष्य से ध्रुवसन्धि का जन्म हुआ। ध्रुवसन्धि से सुदर्शन हुए। सुदर्शन के पुत्र अग्निवर्णा थे। अग्निवर्णा से शीघ्र नामक पुत्र हुए। शीघ्र से मुरु हुए। मरु से प्रसुश्रुत हुए। प्रसुश्रुत के पुत्र का नाम सुगन्धि था। सुगवि से अमर्ष नामक पुत्र हुए। अमर्ष से महास्वन हुए। महास्वन से विश्रुतावन्त हुए। विश्रुतावन्त के पुत्र का नाम बृहदबल था। बृहदबल के पुत्र बृहत्क्षण थे। वृहत्क्षण से गुरुक्षेप का जन्म हुआ। गुरक्षेप से वत्स हुए। वत्स से वत्सव्यूह हुए। वत्सव्यूह के पुत्र का नाम प्रतिव्योम था। प्रतिव्योम से दिवाकर का जन्म हुआ। दिवाकर से सहदेव नामक पुत्र जन्मे। सहदेव से बृहदश्‍व हुए। वृहदश्‍व से भानुरथ हुए। भानुरथ से सुप्रतीक हुए। सुप्रतीक से मरुदेव का जन्म हुआ। मरुदेव ने सुनक्षत्र को पुत्र रूप में प्राप्त किया। सुनक्षत्र से किन्नर नामक पुत्र हुए। किन्नर से अंतरिक्ष हुए। अंतरिक्ष से सुवर्ण हुए। सुवर्ण से अमित्रजित् हुए। अमित्रजित् के पुत्र का नाम वृहद्राज था। वृहद्राज से धर्मी का जन्म हुआ। धर्मी से कृतन्जय का जन्म हुआ। कृतन्जय से जयसेन हुए। जयसेन से सिंहहनु हुए। सिंहहनु से शुद्धोदन का जन्म हुआ। शुद्धोदन ने माया देवी से विवाह किया जिनसे इन्हे सिद्धार्थ नामक पुत्र की प्राप्ति हुई। सिद्धार्थ (गौतम बुद्ध) ने यशोधरा से विवाह किया जिनसे उन्हें राहुल नामक पुत्र की प्राप्ति हुई। Dekha samaj me aaya kya
