French crêpes are generally less filling than Japanese crêpes, but there's an expertise in crêpe batter that's unrivalled in France. There are also many more types of crêpe, depending on the region, recipe and appellation. I'd say we have a much more traditional way of making crêpes in France, whereas in Japan, it's much more modernized.

Dosa is not made from this egg and flour batter… it is made from dal and rice fermented. Same shape in the end but quite different ingredients.

crepe is NOT dosa, my fellow indians. crepe is similar batter (mavu) recipe like bun/bread, just made more liquidish/runny, so it look like dosa. but actually sweet not salty savory like dosa.
