Yes, I like the theme, because Formula 1 already has Red Force, then it would be more of the same, or they deliver the biggest strata coaster in the world surpassing Kingda Ka, they have to deliver something better than Top Thrill Dragster

They’re building a spike on the tail. The holes are already dug. And by the looks of the spacing, it’s going to be huge!! Hope there’s a rollback

I think they're going to launch on the other side. This would give them much more space for the LSM

Only adding lsms won't cut it bc then it won't reach the top hat bc the lsms will need more space to accelerate to the same speed as the hydraulic launch system

I think that it’s gonna have a swing launch where the first launch goes around 74 mph at an acceleration of 0.4 gs. Then it launches backwards at over 90 mph up a 420 ft tall spike before plummeting down to earth and accelerating to a speed of 120 mph. Then it will shoot up a 420 foot top hat and fall down a 270 twisting verticals drop before stopping on the break run and turning left into the station. But that’s just speculation.

I think they'd actually do something like this, new launch system and brakes. But they can't make it black that's the only thing.

Imagine the new dragster has the back row turned around like dc rivals

Love this! However, the sound sounds like the speakers on talking plushes from the 80s. Other than that, it’s great!!!

i think it will be formula one themed but great job!

I wished they'd just do this so anyone who didn't get the to ride the original TTD can get something that's as close to it as possible. I think swing launches/vertical spikes are overrated and they feel so forceless compared to the launch the original TTD had.

the ride is staying, the top hat will stay, but something is coming that I think none one has thought of yet let's be honest. If there was a park to be crazy enough to make a 500-600-foot coaster out of an old record holder that was 400 feet, it would be only fitting for cedar point to be the one to do so. this is my home park which I'm proud to say.

the two key diffrences when you look at the track are there is now some black track and it is not hydrolic launched. it uses boosters

This is literally what it’s going to be just with a spike/swing launch so it can get a go at the LSM’s twice for more speed, if they kept it the same it would need more runway to get enough speed to clear the top hat with LSM’s. I love these colors you picked.

not necessarily. LSMs have advanced a fair bit since maverick. Plus a spike would create a capacity nightmare.

It will actually have a giant spike then sending it down the second launch over the top hat

I hope the spike redesign is true. So it will launch up the top hat but not make it over, roll back down and go up the spike, then go through the launch again with enough speed to make it all the way over, like on Pantheon. That would be so much more fun than how it operated originally, and would finally be able to differentiate itself from Kingda Ka. And Cedar Fair wouldn't have to worry about Six Flags copying them and doing the same thing to KK, Six Flags are way too cheap to invest the money required to change the coaster, especially with their new CEO. The only reason they have KK to begin with is because it was built during the Premier Parks ownership years, when they were investing way more money than they could actually afford to on new rollercoasters.

Sadly it’s not the Fastest Rollercoaster in the world or the tallest but it is the tallest Strata Coaster in the world

We already know that's how it's not gonna be though due to the new footers near iron dragon.

I have to admit the black paint looks cool, but idk how it would work with 100+ degree days

People don't realize how tall and "scary" it is intill your right next to it I went to cedar point litterly like just 6 days ago and I saw it and holy crap was it crazy I didn't know it was closed down I till I got there tho so I was disappointed then

I love the start lights in the tower hope they will so something like that

It's hard to get two track types on one coaster in no limits so I think that's why it's the same tracktype

It does though. They're getting an entirely new braking system on the ride as well, which is why the entire brake run (as well as launch) have been sent back to Italy.

Probably won't launch from a standstill. Also, if I'm a betting man I'd say the launch will be reworked from the other side. Meaning it will go from left to right . lsm's will have to probably be farther to get over. . Layout upgrades I believe are happening as well. Personally I think the top hat is going to be completely redone , but I don't think they will start construction on that till towards the end of next season .This simulation is basically just a reworking of the launch system. It's going to be more than just that.

They still have the Christmas tree up so it’s most likely going to launch from a standstill. The standstill launch is an integral part of the ride/experience

It's been confirmed by CP that it's a 2024 reopening so if they are redoing the top hat (which I highly doubt) they'd have to make a start on it pretty soon.

Yes the formula one will be the new theme, but I see a vertical launch along, with the hat top being raised to 500 feet. If u notice it says the highest fastest in the world.

​​@@TestingTesting-tl7pz the top hat is not being altered. That's the reason it's still standing. It'd be too much money and extra work to add 100 feet to it. They'd have to tear it down and plant entirely new footers than the current ones to handle the different design.
