How to draft pant patterns with your own measurements!
In this video, I show you shorts pattern drafting. I don't draft legs like knee and ankle, but you can apply this process when you make basic pant patterns as well. Get your measurements ready and watch the previous video (episode 61: Waist dart for skirt & pant) before you watch this video, shorts front pattern making from scratch.

Hi Jin, happy new year! I have a question. I have a pants pattern that looks all right and everything thing matches what you mentioned in your master class, except that the crease line is not in the center of the crotch line, for both front and back. I made a sample of this pattern, it fits me perfectly. My question is: is that anything wrong that I didn't notice?

So if I draft the shorts using body measurements with no added ease, except for the extra 1” on the back, then this draft is going to be skin tight, right? Would this be considered more like a moulage?
