I like that they went through rough times and stuck it out and grew together. No one is perfect, and they kept supporting each other when times were difficult.

Until you remember this happiness took work, patience, and understanding. It doesn't magically happen. Yes, first step is to find your person, but second step is to have a mutually supportive relationship with that person. You both show up for each other, especially when the other is struggling. I appreciate how candid both of them have been about the idealization of their marriage.

@@kiarimarie for sure. This couple has had their issues, but you can see how they truly worked on it and worked on themselves instead of just giving up like so many others do. Marriage is really important to them. If there’s enough love to be there in the first place to get married, even more than that to have children, there’s enough love to put the pieces back together. Kind of like the parent trap movie. Love that movie.
