I flew on my first 777 it was BA 777-300ER from LHR to JFK Sat behind the engines near to the back I had Aisle seat but god they sounded fantastic and the Power. My first ever flight was 2019 on an AC787 from LHR to YVR with GEnx. Same on the way back and from JFK it was a GE90-90B 772 wanted a Rolls Royce having never flew on an RE powered aircraft

Bro you are correct because if they will give full throttle during any take off the passengers will get hard push back due to inertia

@@masighose8098 and not just that, if it's full power, they are gonna overuse the engine, which may give an angine failure during takeoff, so in order for it not to happen, it's always 90% throttle

Techinically all jet engines are never running at “full power” except when they are being tested. TO/GA thrust is the most powerful setting on jet engines and its always at least 2% shy of “full power”

A 777 is soo powerful it can take off with one engine

@@ahmedayaat4736 true. I should also mention that the engine itself is about 1/3 the size of the casing. The reason they're so big is because of the fan blades.

That might be a bit of exaggeration, but not much. 777 engines are enormous.

I love listening to those things spool! See the load on the wings and they'll start to flex!

sounds like 80% power. those rolls royce GE90 engines have an amazing sound

I can tell you took off from Newark, NJ (EWR). I noticed Port Newark and I-95 (NJ Turnpike) in the background. Great 👍🏻 video 📹🛫

Thank you for sharing this take off scene. yes, the engines are not at full power. It is at take-off power which is less than full power. These engines are very powerful and nice to see.

I'm a Licensed A&P Love the way Turbo bypass Engines have so much intake Airflow!!

That’s probably about 60% power lol but still awesome. I’ll by flying in a 777 to maui in a few weeks

That's a lot more than 60 easily in the 80s the GE90 isn't that loud of an engine

It is. You can see the Bayonne Bridge at the beginning. Taking off from runway 4L. I've driven by several times and never realized how close it is to the water.

Awesome video. I love watching the engines during take off. Only in business class or if you’re lucky enough to get a forward economy seat can you see the engine like this. I flew on an A340-600 in business class a few years ago and it was magic to watch those two engines mounted on the wings as we gained speed and altitude!

These high by-pass engines are fascinating. You can see right through most of the engine. It’s crazy they can be so powerful.

I'm pretty sure all these modern GE Aviation ac engines like GE90x fam are made basically all by hand by individual teams of engineers and techs ... like no automatic assembly line mass producing here.

Like the whole plane balancing on those huge engines
