Fantástico. Lo que quiera - hearing it sufficiently repeated to catch it from the other room while doing chores. Me encanta. Gracias.

Hi - I am hearing some words pronounced differently than I'm used to--for example: I have always pronounced "llevo" as "YAY-vo" but here it is pronounced "JAY-vo." For the Spanish word "Ya" I have always said "Yah" but here it is pronunced "Jah." Can you explain why these words are pronounced as they are here?

English is my first language but I have looked into this. It appears to be a regional dialect matter. In Columbia, “lluvia” sounds like “Jew-bee-ah”, a softer “J” than we say in English. In parts of Mexico, “LL” sounds like the English “Y.” My Spanish classes taught that pronunciation. Some you tube Spanish teachers explain this.
