YOU NEED IT !! I think you’ll really appreciate the writing and you’ll definitely be thinking about it once you finish it because it’s a type of book you need to process after it’s done

I recommend A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness! It’s super short and so beautiful!

This was a terrific recommendation video. I'm new to your channel, so I didn't know what kind of stuff you'd be recommending, so I was tentatively holding my breath, but these seem really, really interesting -- even though (though perhaps because?) they don't seem like something I'd generally read. Thanks for the thoughtful responses about each book and for the recommendations. I'm at 92 of 100 for the year and am definitely going to need to squeeze in a few shorter ones. Cheers!

I recommend Every morning the way home gets longer and longer it's an amazing book give it a try if you haven't read it yet plus it's only 70 pages.

My new favourite booktube channel

i would really recommend living dead girl by elizabeth scott. only has 180 pages and it's one of the most gripping books i've ever read. if stuff like rape or abuse triggers you be careful though. it's a really dark and sad book. it is fictional though by the way, and the writing style is so beautiful

That's exactly why I was looking for short books, because of my reading challenge haha. End of the year is approaching.

I've read 60 physical books this year, an all-time high. I usually listen to audiobooks or read comic books instead.

I needed exactly this type of video today. I'm only halfway done with my goodreads goal for the year haha.

Honestly love all your recommendations videos; in this one I'm esp interested in The memory police, sheets (I love Steven universe so much 🥰), and Rafe. I've been wanting to listen to the poet x since you've been recommending it so much, I feel I'll be picking it up soon. I totally never read the great Gatsby surprisingly, but I know so much about it 😂 I've seen parts of the movie and from the atmosphere of it I think I'd really enjoy the book.

I use three different lights (two box lights and an overhead light) for all my sit-down videos and a Canon 70d with a 1.8 lens !
