I have a TRIUMPH TIGER 900 GT PRO motorcycle. The factory-supplied Standard-height seat has an adjustable height of 810 millimetres, to 830 millimetres.
I previously rode a YAMAHA V-STAR XVS950A cruiser motorcycle. This has a seat-height of 675 millimetres (which is very low). The low seat-height suited me very well, as I am a short person of height 5'4".
Wearing my normal ALPINESTARS STELLA GRAN TORINO GTX boots. When seated on the TIGER 900 GT PRO, my feet cannot touch the ground. This takes away my confidence to ride that motorbike.
Join me in this video, as I explain and demonstrate the 2 things I did, that helped me gain confidence to ride the TIGER 900 GT PRO motorcycle.
The most important change I did, was to wear DAYTONA MAX SPORTS GTX boots. These boots have a lifted-heel height of 6 centimetres. Secondly, I replaced the factory-supplied Standard-height seat, with a Low-Rider seat. The Low-Rider seat has an adjustable seat-height of 790 millimetres, to 810 millimetres).
DAYTONA make make several different models of motorbike riding-boots. This includes boots with lifted-heels for men & women.
The DAYTONA german-website:

- webpage for worldwide dealership network
INNOTESCO is the Australian distributor for DAYTONA products:

If you would like to ride a motorbike that is slightly too tall for you. Perhaps, investigate the DAYTONA lifted-heel boots, and also changing the standard-height seat, to a seat with lower height.

Thank you so much for this video! They're quite expensive, but they would be worth it. I'm 5'3" with a 28" inseam and it's very frustrating having to "adapt" to basically every single sportbike except for a 250cc... I don't mind using one foot down, but I at least want to be able to not have to lean half of my buttocks off the seat with my foot down.

Thank you for making this video. I am exactly the same height and inseam as you,. I just purchased a new CBR650R with an 810mm seat height and in my RST boots I can tip toe both sides and one foot fine, However after returning to riding after 30 years I am feeling a little uneasy whenever I stop on any uneven surface. I think these boots will be perfect for me. This is the only video I have found with such a great demonstration of the effect. Safe riding.

Thanks! And about sizing of the boots? I generally use 41,5 European / Size 8... So, some doubts about choose size 41 or 42...

best to be able to test fit both sizes at a store. But if not, a bigger size can be worn with thocker socks. But a smaller size cannot be comfortably squeezed into.
