Maria, I know exactly what you’re talking about with the fingers! My step sister has these same hand/finger gestures. Her and I were really close but she died 9 years ago. I’ve never commented this on your channel but you helped me sleep for the first 2 years after she died when I was a complete mess. I miss her dearly and every time I meet someone that has the same finger movements I’m immediately drawn to them. I thought I was crazy haha but I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s noticed this. Your videos are always spot on. Thanks for helping so many of us sleep ❤

Some of my tingliest memories were from people with short nails, very deliberate hand movements and a moist quality to there hands, very specific I know :) If you had a similar experience, you might enjoy this video!

how exciting! i love when ASMRtists have short nails! asmr is such a diverse experience-long nails can be so beautiful and elegantly entrancing, but when i think about my in person asmr experiences, the people in my life usually have short nails. my mom, my teachers, girls in class who would play with your hair-all short nails, with the hands themselves showing so much love and care :)

Omg the short nails and kind of "sticky fingers" quality - I know exactly what you're talking about about but I've never been able to vocalize it! So amazing that you could create this trigger, amazing video Maria!!

I think short nails/soft sticky fingers are so nostalgic and triggers for us is because that’s how children’s hands are, and we (most of us) experienced ASMR for the first time as children. Whether it was hair brushing or scalp massages, back tracing or face painting with other kids, we all remember that first ASMR experience ✨

OMG PLEASE do more deliberate-bendy-svetlana-sassy finger videos 😭❤️ it’s the most satisfying trigger EVER and so hard to find in other asmr videos :’)

I love the short nails. The clicking of the nails is great, but the pads of the fingertips make such a great sound too. I also have a childhood memory of a girl named Desiree who used to play with my hair on the school bus. She had sort of 'sticky' fingers and it felt so good because it would pull my hair towards the roots.

I personally always have super short nails because any kind of length bothers me (and my nails are a little brittle and don’t do well long anyway). So I love your short nails as much as your long! 😊

Maria, I really like short nails triggers as you do! I really appreciate you can make this video cuz most of the triggers are made by long nails (I also like it but not that much). I recommend tapping on paper box and the voice made by finger pulp, both with the short nails. They are quite different from those made by long nails. Hope you may make another video about more short nails triggers!

Just personally I think I prefer longer nails with asmr but if the shorter nails are what makes you happy and bringing you joy then 100% they are the best choice. They're your nails girl keep them short if that's what makes you love them right now!
