I feel beyond lucky to count Nate among the amazing people I was friends with during my own time in Monterey. He was a friend and teacher and I was in Iraq myself when I heard he'd been killed. All of us who knew him were deeply saddened by the news. We miss him.
Nate, I thank God every day for men and women like yourself who fight and die to protect the freedom that I so enjoy. I hope you can hear my words all the way in Elysium, or wherever you may be.
Rest in peace Nate, nothing but honor and respect for you. Thank you.
This... this is simply amazing. Nate seemed amazing.

@Jeremiah Grant Nate never dropped his shield, and i never will drop mine either. Till Valhalla was a saying said among US brothers that were guns in the fight. Pick your video game controller back up bitch, and don't disrespect a comment on a HERO'S tribute.
Thank you Nate
This needs more views.
This is very beautiful and what i noticed is that it is the soundtracks from both the gladiator film and braveheart movie. Which is my favorite movies ever, Thank you!

RIP Shipmate...
R.I.P from Nate's home state of New Hampshire.
Jesus, pretty sure I went to gunners mate A school with Nate back in 97-98. I remember him being a BUD/S candidate. I also remember him beating the Shit out of another kid twice his size for stabbing him with a pencil. Lol kid came out of the barracks with a busted lip and an eye the size of a grapefruit. He was calm as a cucumber.
Nate was anyway...
