How can you look the back of your head? Teach me please
Hey Alex, I started to cut my hair about 3 months ago when i found your channel. And i haven’t gone to a barbershop since that. I just wanted to thank you, keep doing what you are doing!
good vid!! loved the tip at "start at the eyebrow". Keep on!!
Was just going to cut my hair using your older tutorial...nice surprise seeing a new one
I've been watching you for months now. I would love it if you do a detailed beard trim tutorial

this video is awesome! thank you for this video.
Best tutorial I’ve ever watched
Great cut ✂️🔥🔥✂️
You hit the jackpot with this one. The shorter length going up into the hair on top would also allow you a better fringe cut if you wanted that as an optional style. Your previous fringe cuts left too much on the top and the sides, making them look too heavy. Keep on doing this. You definitely have great skill at this and know your clippers well.
I been inflicting myself with haircuts for about 2years now lol it’s very satisfying
Great job! I have been cutting hair for a while now, and just to let you know some people like light fades, starting from no clip open lever which doesn't leave it so short. Great videos !
Nice job as always..
First! Great as always
you should try to zero gap your clippers and maybe use a trimmers below where you put in your no guard guide line, it would make your haircuts much cleaner.
Nice work as always. Thank you for all your videos. So can you make a tutorial about high length using the (1.5mm closed) guard as the first guideline.
Thanks u so much Alex, I have cut my hair 2 times now and iam getting better😄👍👍🙏
Great!
Many Thanks
I always watch your video because your video very nice and interesting and i like how you cut your hair 😁
I love the haircut it looks so awesome and the color of Alex's hair looks even nicer Alex if you read this you are the best barber in the world take care be safe.

Siiiiiick fade man!
Nice cut bro

for the top of your hair how do you know how much to cut on your top left side. i do a similar comb over but my left side looks messy. It seems you leave it long on the front and the the same lenght all round except for that small area that combs over and back.
Sos un capo 👋
Super 👍
What about very low fades? Will you make a video about it?
I think you should blur that fade a bit more bro, you can lower that no guard lever closed line and extend no guard lever open and #1 line. But don't get me wrong, you are doing far better haircut than a lot of barbers. 👍

I learnt all the things and saved good amount of money during 2 years bro
Hello Alex, as always very good result. I think only a few professional hairdressers are able to cut their own hair so perfect, especially with scissors. To always think opposite while watching in the mirrors is so difficult to learn. I remember an apprentice barber cutting my front hairline as a child while just watching in the mirror, believe or not, she always cut the wrong side and the result was terrible 😂 Take care and Stay Healthy 😘👍

After seen this video I made up my mind to cut my hair by myself cause I had no fear for correction
Your hair looks great. I still don’t think most guys could do this themselves very well.
Love your vids! Can you do a video that shows how to cut hair with a machine without a lever?

Any tips on How to cool down the metal of the clipper
@klarkkent4994

Lubticate the blades before every haircut. You can also use ceramic blade, it should speed up your clipper, extend battery life and cool down bottom blade.
wow
Hi Alex, I am cutting hair since feb 20 but able to cut only sides , not able to cut the top n back using scissors, also not able to find a good 360 deg mirror just using handheld mirror. Not able to take correct hair and cut using scissors for Top or Back
@AlexKouras

I'm not sure where you live, but you should be able to find a solid mirror 1 ft by 4 ft for less than $10. This will really improve your self-haircut process.

@@AlexKouras Thanks for reply, seems i miscommunicated. I have lots of fixed dressing table mirrors at home and a 3 ft by 3 ft size bathroom mirror which is enough to cut front and sides, i am using handheld mirror to cut the back sides. Also while cutting front hair not able to judge scissors position and length. maybe i should run with longest guard all over head so its uniform. What do u say?
@ravishankark4453

@Joel Gutierrez nice idea even my mirror faces opp to the door open can try it but if door is open all hairs will be falling little outside bathroom, will figure out something thanks a lot
Talking from experience, if you're giving yourself a fade and start with a 0 lever closed it'll be hard to make the lines seamless later on. I personally would start making a guide lines with a 0 open (depending on how high your fade would be) and then start from the bottom with a 0 closed through the middle part and then blend it with a 0 halfway closed. This way, it'll be easier to blend the guide lines with a 0.5mm closed, and then open halfway through. I am not a certified hairstylist, but I've been in the industry since i was 16, I'm 23 now. Good job nonetheless!!
Ooooouuff
Hey man, just a suggestion, could you redo the medium length self haircut? It is clear that now you have much more knowledge and skill in cutting hair compared to back then, so maybe you could remake the video with better tips and instruction? Also great vid, ur cuts are fire 🔥

Hey Alex, I'm a lot better at using the machine to cut the sides and back of my hair than I am with using shears to cut the top part of my hair. The top always ends up uneven on some parts and when my hair grows it looks lopsided LOL is there a method you use to even out cutting the part part of your hair with the shears?
@funspeedcuber9363
3 жыл бұрын
Yea lol i have the same exact problem, its so hard cutting the top
@AlexKouras
3 жыл бұрын
Usually hair doesn't grow perfectly straight, but cutting your hair as even as possible on top will make your head definitely look less "lopsided". Double check your work with the comb pulling the hair up in all directions.
why u not using straight razor?
@AlexKouras
3 жыл бұрын
For my beard, I can’t because it gives me pimples. For my line-up, it irritates my skin even with razor cream. So I usually use my small scissors or trimmers for it instead.

Each haircut is done differently and the topics of each video is also different. Remember the titles are meant to help those searching for particular hairstyles. Any haircuts you would like to see in particular? New haircut styles will be posted in the near future. Patience! I can only cut my hair so often haha. They are on the way👏

You can buy it off Amazon or an online store for roughly $5-$10. Or just buy a new guard set off Amazon for $20 that has the #0.5 and #1.5 guards.
