A short hike in the South Hams (Devon) from Elburton (South East of Plymouth) to Wembury Beach. The walk is approximately 6 miles long (one way) and, aside from a steep stair-climb in Wembury Woods, it is fairly flat and even. There are some lovely views of the Devonshire countryside and coast and the walk passes through woods, villages, fields and along the coast path. Some of the walk follows the route of the old Yealmpton branch line and there are several remnants of the railway to be seen along the walk.
