As someone who went straight from 3 good feet of locks to an extreme pixie cut, I can say with certainty that those with long hair have it way worse off. With long hair I woke up with nasty knots every morning, and it took way longer to fix than my short hair now does. It was like a huge nest of stress weighing on my skull wherever I went. first of all, in the morning, long hair is knotted and messy. it being perfect is a total lie. second of all, before going to bed just do a braid. It keeps it from getting in the way and it’ll keep your hair from getting knotted.

Get some detangling spray they got different scent like strawberry or apple pie or just plain scented and they are great or you can make your own detangling spray by mixing whatever conditioner you have in a spray bottle mix with some water and shake it and there you go..

@@taurusgemstone well its a lot easier to brush, style etc. i also dont have to put it up as much. washing is a lot easier too. it takes me around 30-45 minutes to wash, dry, and brush. its really just your choice. it did take me a while to make the decision but eventually i just did it. if you really want to cut it short i'd just go for it!! 💜

I water down my shampoo and conditioner, like a lot. I found that it's a LOT easier to apply that way, and it works better for me

Huh? You do know you only soap your scalp, right? Short hair and long hair take exactly the same amount of time to wash correctly.

Back when I had long hair, I’d think it was a mess when I woke up but all it took was 3 min of brushing. Now I’ve cut my hair and I have to brush it, straighten it and style it. Much more work
