I really miss the previous ken model, so I decided to animate this clip. I used FlipaClip premium, and for the sound effects, most of them are from YT but some like the bird flapping are from the CapCut sounds. Capcut’s sound organization is a mess so I had to turn to YT instead.
Personally, I don’t like the new Ken model. The design is great, of course, but it doesn’t give off the vibes crocodile Ken did. Croc Ken looked powerful, strong, a bit intimidating, but it was still graceful in its swim and polite in its sit. It was really like an animal, not just a hungry carnivore.
The new Rex ken is more “brutish”, sorry for the word choice, in a lot of its manners, for example the new swim and the way its head horns are like a hatchet or axe head. Of course that isn’t necessarily bad, but it makes it seem more bloodthirsty, at least to me, since it lost a bit of its old grace. The way it opens its mouth in the lay/sit is nice though, like how crocs will do that to bask and relax.
Croc ken will always be in my heart. All of that stuff is just my opinion, designs are subjective, and it’s okay to dislike or like all designs as long as you don’t put people down or make fun of the designs.
