nice looking rig! makes me miss my slayer pro - i had all the modifications yours has with the exception of the swaybars - i could never find the correct kit for some reason. i also replaced the original 3.3 with a .21TM. the thing was an absolute rocket, and i think the center diff was a must to make it handle more predictably.

Thanks for showing us this it’s a good looking truck when the body is off and some nicer extras!

hey my dude! thanks 100% for checking out this video and being a new channel member!! YEs dude I'm telling you that dynamite 19 is the best budget direct fit engine for pretty much any traxxas. Best thing is you can re-use the electric start system or traxxas pull start, also the carbs on these engines are metal body and hold a tune well. NItrogang!! good luck with the new used t-maxx to ya!!!

The short chassis was awesome. Mine has a Bronco body made for the Slash.

Isbther any advatt to the original chassis and width ? Can it run slash bodies ? I already have a few of those.

How do you recommend breaking in the dynamite .19? I just started mine up yesterday and I’m doing the Adam drake method. Any opinions?

hey man, great question! The Adam drake method is not much different from the basic traxxas break-in, they are all just heat cycles starting with idling 2 tanks at first and then driving at up to 25%,50% and 75% throttle on the following tanks. Long as you dont over heat and do some heat cycles, that is your break in right there. I prefer a heat cycle of 1/2 tank each about 4 times honestly. A full tank of idle will take forever, after that just normal slow driving and you'r good. NItroGang!..

YUP! 100%. you said it bro!! At this point I'm not totally sure if the crazy flipping out of nowhere can be attributed to the unique center diff setup or the tall and rough suspension. I will do some suspension tuning and then try it again. It's possible that this early short and narrow slayer model just drives like crap, lol. totally possible!>

Hi bud im in the uk i have a hobao vt with a LRP 32 SPEC 4 Have run it all in,,,It runs great but i get this odd problem it accelerates like crazy and at about 3/4 throttle it stutters then takes off again to amazing speed what would cause the stutter any thoughts cheers

I would be almost guess servo issue make sure your throttle servo stays open or maybe it’s lean issue
