I was also a single parent when she was eight months old and worked 7 days a week to pay my mortgage, I had to eat at work as I couldn’t afford to eat at home. Luckily my parents looked after my daughter and fed her.

I had to go back to work six weeks after my daughter was born, my firm rung me two days after giving birth to see if I could manage a branch an hours drive away, I had stitches so said no. The person who rung said they were disappointed as they though I would do it
