Hi Jessica! I enjoyed the video! I too like to freshen up my decor with some new finds. Anyone who loves decor does that....that is how they grow their decor which gives them lots of options every year. Don't be concerned with some of the comments about you being a follower. Every one is a follower and buys some items they see and like. Anyone who buys anything online or off the shelf then is a follower because more than one person has the same piece. Even those that love antiques....I've seen a lot of people who buy antiques and buy the same identical antique as others I watch. Just buy what you like. You always do something different with your decor....like I would never have thought of doing a plaid theme with those ornament colors your purchased and I bet no one on here would have thought of doing that either.

Studio McGee has velvet ornaments in those colors but you have to ship (I didn’t find any in store)!

In the past I would've not cared about velvet ornaments but they are stunning! Went out to my Michael's & found the red. Also blue & black but not using those colors. The cashier said they have been flying off the shelves.

I loved this! I, too, went all through at home looking for white/cream velvet ornaments & ended up buying the ones you showed, but opted out because of them possibly attracting pet hair. That’s all I’ve been able to find!!

I went to Michael’s last Friday because I wanted to get the emerald green ornaments. I had bought them last year and was only able to find two boxes so I thought I would hit up at earlier this year and I didn’t even know they were doing the velvet flocked ornaments until I got there. And it was literally fully stocked like I think they just put it all out so every single color was there. So I was able to get all of my emerald green that I wanted and, I am doing neutrals on my main tree this year so I was able to get every single ornament I needed in the velvet flocked. My favorite was the light brown! I did not know that they were so viral so I went back on Sunday and they were all gone! I am looking for the Aspen Candle as well, and of course I cannot find it! I did go to Home Depot and looked at the tree, and I was a little disappointed because it looked very plastic and fake in person. I’m going to stick with king of Christmas.

Also, in my opinion, I think the Michaels ornaments are better quality than the Hobby lobby ones! I found the hobby lobby ones early in the season, and I never got them because they were so cheaply made and I’m so glad I waited because the ones at Michael’s are beautiful

I got the Hobby Lobby light and dark brown over a month ago I regret not getting the cream ones :( there were always so many black, which I could have gotten for Halloween :( now I want the green bc last year and this I did mostly green and browns downstairs So glad you found the green I wish I looked at Michaels for them This year I want to do white or creams in our bedroom Gingerbread & nutcracker are very popular, cute but not my style

Last year I went an hour away to the same store. I was in search of this gingerbread men stacked as a Christmas tree shape. Said they had it online. They did not. Went to service desk. I was told it was probably on the truck not unloaded yet. Must be their standard answer. I ended up getting one on Mercari. Happy Holidays to you & yours.

I work at michaels and we just got more velvet ornaments in. So definitely check back! Bc i think we get 2 or 3 restock of items and today if our 2nd restock.

I like them okay but not the brown, I prefer to decorate in traditional red and green. I can decorate in brown any other time of the year.

I feel like it’s a narrow tree and what’s magical are the lights! You can add magical lights to any tree for way less money! Don’t do it! Lol 🤷🏻‍♀️

Like that you were careful in your spending. YT home decor peeps don’t realize that you may have viewers who follow the “trend” who probably put themselves in a budget crunch just to follow. I would never pay over $350 for a tree. Especially when most YT have more than 1-2 trees already.When the average person may only be able to have one . Thank you for your conscious shopping.

What I loved about your channel was you were Not a trend follower, you were a trend setter imo, always doing something different and unique and not doing the same things all the other KZreadrs do. I thought you have said many times that you were only going to buy the things you really loved.? Things that are timeless and that can last for years!? Also, trends change every single year. So it’s always going to be something different. You should have taken all the money you spent on the ornaments and bought that gorgeous rain deer 🦌 for your kids since they would have absolutely loved it!!!! And they are ONLY little once! That’s something you can pull out every year and watch them get excited about it, and not something everyone else has. I watch a lot of KZread videos and everyone is decorating with the same exact things. So nothing sets you apart from them? I definitely wouldn’t buy that tree, when all you need to do is add twinkle lights to your own beautiful tree you already have. Sorry for the rant, but I just really love your channel and hate seeing you are doing the same thing everyone else is doing because that’s what’s popular this year!

She is simply making one video of what’s popular this season and where to find it. As someone who lives in a rural area, I really appreciate her showing us where we can get some of these items, so I’m not wasting gas driving all over. She isn’t changing the theme of her channel. It’s her channel and she can post what she likes.
