I have always tried Zara jeans. I feel like their fit is never great for a short girl. I recently tried H&M. They fit so well and I didn’t have to get it tailored. I am in love with their skinny fit too. It’s perfect.

Check out Frame jeans too. They are a higher price point, I know, but it's the quality for me.

I prefer to invest more fine and quality jeans like Salsa (the Secret Glamour model always work!), Frame or JBrand (the OUTNET has good offers) etc

Buy a second pair and try them. Sometimes they are mis-sized.

Everything I've bought in asos which has been asos brand has always been huge on me tops, bottoms even coats. In river island I'm a size 14 but mum jeans in river island a 16 wouldn't go near me so I'm guessing an 18 would fit but won't be huge in the legs. Marks and spencer im a size 12 in jeans, tesco a size 12, now zara I have 3 different sizes a 12 a 14 and an 18 which all fit me perfectly in the waist. H & M same as zara. When I measured all my jeans against each other there all in around the same size even the 12 and 18. When I say the Jeans I'm wearing or a size 18 nobody believes me. Sweaty Betty in leggings I'm a size small which are perfect but I also have size medium which are a little loser. And all my other leggings are a medium.

I’m a 10 in most retailers due to my hips, Topshop 30/30 for reference. I got a 10 of the blue Zara jeans which were uncomfortable to sit down in, reordered a size 12 expecting them to be perfect and still just as tight. Zara’s sizing is awful 😞

A uk10 is 28" waist and a uk12 is 30"

Do you buy the adanola leggings in full length or cropped and which size are you in them? I'm also 5"2 with a small waist and large hips but a little bit thicker than you so I like to buy the same length as you do but one size bigger.

I get the cropped in size S but they are so stretchy I could probably do an XS. so depending on your size you might find the M has a bit more room that you expect.

Black jeans did look quite big on the waist.. maybe order another pair in the same size.. I’ve done that before and found perfect fit 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lol I've done this too when sizing up would have been too much, ordered 3 pairs and one of them didn't try to squish my waist, yet were the "same size".

The best jeans so far that I tried are Levi's: Dad jeans, 501 & wedgie! Quality excellent & for me the price is fine. ZARA it's often a miss denim/jeans-wise. They always something off. I do have an average bum, Levi's respect my bum, ZARA no respect at all ahah!!

What’s you body type and size in Levi’s?? I remember when I was in high school in the 90s they ran small. I was tiny and they always felt tight in the waist.

I hate shopping for jeans! I don't have a small waist so if the legs fit perfectly, the waist is too tight. If I go up a size, the legs are too baggy. I cannot find a good balance!

How tall are you ? Would help me
