I love 49 and Market too and Mintay! Love that booth with all the Mintay selection. Haven't been to an Expo in several years....sounds like a girls trip to me!

It was nice to see the Mintay display. It has become my favorite paper now. I could spend a lot of money here for sure.

My friend that got me into planning and I went last year to the one here in Duluth, GA. We are planning on going again this year. It is in July here. We CANNOT wait! Especially after seeing your video. We love the photoplay booth, the scrappy boy stamps booth, echo park paper co., and we both love the graphic 45 stuff. I think we both spent the most money in the scrapthatnj booth 😂 It was a lot of fun!!!

Yay - I hope that the two of you have a great time!

One suggestion I would make for shopping at an event like this is to "window shop" at the various booths first, without buying anything. Make notes - either digital, written, or mental - of what booths you want to go back to, then make a second go-around to those. Of course, if there are time-sensitive deals, that might impact how you can do this. But I have found that there might be more than one booth carrying staple products, like say, Nuvo drops or gilding flakes, where one seller might be a little cheaper than another. Still supporting a small business, but saving a little money to spend elsewhere. Plus, it can help you not overspend in one booth & then find another that has stuff you want but cannot then afford. Hope that makes sense. I would also recommend setting a maximum spending amount & keeping tabs on how much you have paid, just to keep from overspending and seriously regretting when the next credit card bill comes! Aall & Create is a British company so I believe some of the cost is due to import duties. I LOVE their older stamps and have found online retailers who will sell at a (small) discount. Tracy Evans was my favorite designer from them, but she has left them and started her own company. She does have a KZread channel and ships internationally. Another British company I LOVE is Inkylicious - she too has a KZread channel and ships abroad. Last recommendation is Asia Marquet for Lemon Creations, and she has both KZread channel and ships internationally. I have ordered from all 3 and find them to be quick and responsive. Shipping and duty is not AWFUl but it is an additional expense. Enjoyed this - TFS!

It really does make a big difference getting to see product in person.

This was my 3rd time going. The last 2, I participated in the mega make and take and a couple workshops. This year I actually won one of the bg Saturday scraptaclar. I never win any drawings. Had a great time. Hopefully, if I still live close( well I drove 4 hours) I will attend again.

My friends and I went to Denver CO in May, 2024. It didn’t seem to offer near as many booths as what you showed, and no 49 &market. I was really wanting that brand! I’m sure they all vary some. We still had plenty of products to buy!

I love the SSBE! I am fortunate that they come to my city each year but I always want to go again after our event is done! LOL! One of these years I may plan a trip to one of the other locations to sight see and just do classes/make 'n takes at the expo. Coming up this month... Denver - May 17-18 Puyallup - May 31-June 1

I wish they had one close to home. I live in CRESCENT CITY CA on the most Northwestern border of CA. It is right beside the beautiful Pacific Ocean
