Ik ben echt een ei. Ik wist helemaal niet dat je uit Nederland kwam! Wat geweldig! Ik geniet echt zo erg van je illustraties en je videos! Ik ben zelf 10+ jaar illustrator geweest maar ik heb helaas een aantal jaren door PTSS niet meer kunnen tekenen. Ik ben het nu langzaam aan het oppakken en jouw illustraties inspireren me echt enorm!

De meeste dingen die ik deel zijn Engelstalig, dus het komt veel voor dat mensen dit niet weten hoor! 😄 Bedankt voor je mooie woorden. Echt vervelend om te horen dat je door PTSS niet meer hebt kunnen tekenen, dat lijkt me heel vervelend. Fijn dat mijn video je inspireerde, dat is het mooiste compliment als dit je zou helpen bij het tekenen 🥰🥰 Veel plezier toegewenst!

Jouw video popte ineens op in mijn youtube. Leuk om je video te zien. Ik.kom.uit Rotterdam en daar hebben we ook een grote winkel (Harolds Gerstacker) zitten vlakbij Station Rotterdam-Blaak. Ik kom daar ook vaak voor mn markers, neocolors, van gogh napjes etc

I visited Amsterdam, Delft, and a few other villages last June. It was my first trip to Europe and our experience was so good I'd go live there. I wanted to visit a few art supply stores but we never made it.

Onlangs nog een Nederlander in Brugge (heeft een leuke interieurwinkel) gesproken die me zei dat ik zeker eens naar Utrecht moest gaan. Nu wil ik zeker gaan, met zo’n prachtige winkel! 😍 Wat een leuke spulletjes weer, je doet me ook enthousiast worden over pastels… 🤩 Ik vraag me alleen af wat het verschil is tussen al die soorten pastels? 🙈😅 En wat een prachtig kunstwerkje heb je weer gemaakt! 😍❤️ Veel liefs, Inge

Heel erg bedankt! ❤️ Het is een ontzettend mooie winkel vind ik ook, zeker een bezoekje waard. Ik ben zelf ook nog de verschillen aan het ontdekken tussen de pastels. De pastels die ik in het filmpje gebruik, zijn net iets te zacht eigenlijk.

I'd love to try Holbein gouache once. I only hear good things about the brand 😊

Yes…Holbein gouache is fantastic. But here in the U.S. it’s pretty expensive. I have a few tubes, but would like to add more. W&N gouache is very high quality too. I think Schmincke gouache is very expensive too…in the U.S., but very highly rated. There are many excellent brands, but Holbein seems to be a standout. I have ordered sample sets from sellers on Etsy…a good way to try out expensive paints. 😊

Escoda, de Perla lijn, is een synthetisch penseel van Barcelona. Echt heel goede penselen met een goede punt. Ze zijn er in allerlei modellen en aan een goede prijs.. Escoda heeft naast de Perla nog veel andere soorten penselen met ander haar.( bijv de Prado..) De casaneo van Da Vinci is ook beter dan de nova.grtjs

@@nadyartillustrationMaar dat is ook juist. Het Nederlandse woord trekharmonica staat voor een instrument gelijkaardig aan een accordion maar kleiner. Voilà, daarom dus.😊

Hallo Nadya Je vroeg in je leuke (!) video welke penselen wél goed blijven en ik kan je het merk Princeton aanbevelen. Deze gebruik ik zelf voor gouache, maar voor aquarelverf zijn ze ook geschikt.

Heb laatst Princeton bij Splendith gekocht. Tot nu toe erg fijn. Gerstaecker heeft ook mooie winkels in Den Haag en Rotterdam. In Rotterdam zit er ook een winkel van Van Beek op 5 minuten lopen van de Harolds zoals die in Rotterdam heet.

Een beetje door KZread aan het bladeren en toen kwam jouw video voorbij. Leuk om eens een Nederlandse winkel te zien! Maar ook: WAAROM HEB IK DEZE WINKEL NIET GEZIEN TOEN IK IN NOVEMBER IN UTRECHT WAS?! 😂 Misschien in de voorjaarsvakantie maar weer eens naar Utrecht dus 😉 Ik vind je treintekening (vogeltje met sjaaltje en oorwarmertjes) echt té schattig, net als de illustratie aan het eind; ik hou van dit soort werk. Ben zelf nog heel erg zoekende naar een soort van eigen stijl, iets wat ik leuk, maar ook niet te moeilijk vind. Tekenen en aquarel zit écht niet in mijn genen, het kost me zóveel moeite! Natekenen lukt me inmiddels (meestal) aardig, dus voorlopig doe ik dat, ooit gaat het me toch wel lukken om een eigen stijl te ontwikkelen en écht zelf iets te maken? 😉 Ik vind het wél heel leuk om te doen, dus ik ga vrolijk door en laat mij inspireren door mensen als jij 😊| Dank voor deze leuke video! En gelijk maar even op de 'subscribe' button geklikt natuurlijk.

Bedankt voor je leuke bericht! Haha, door KZread aan het bladeren 😄 Wat leuk dat je bij mijn video terecht kwam! De winkel is zeker de moeite waard, en het ligt bij de gracht, dus sowieso genoeg leuke opties ook in de buurt 🥰 Fijn dat je ook bezig bent met tekenen. Door de tijd heen zie je vaak toch vooruitgang, dus vooral bezig blijven en het helpt vaak om een concreet doel te hebben voor iets dat je wilt leren zodat je gericht kunt oefenen :)

Can i ask you of you use gouache pure or diluted with a bit of water? Thank you.

Of course, ask away! 🥰 I use gouache in both ways you described: I start out by adding more water, to get a water color like consistency, and then I build layers up by using less water. The details I add with pure gouache in the end :) I rarely start out by using the gouache undiluted.
