He buys shoes... My entire inventory fits in a shoe box :-) I'm a full time RV guy, I envy the storage space Hairy has...yet my shoe box life has pushed my sales higher by cherry picking the best and leaving the low yield volume to others. Props to those who got the stamina to grind it out with volume, but I got limited space and need to make it count.
For a short time a few years ago, I worked in a convenience store. Whenever someone came in and bought rolling papers, but no tobacco, we knew why.
Great video, I’m a college student and I’ve been flipping iPhones and other devices off Facebook and onto eBay. Great profit with very little work, definitely recommend it to people who want to make an extra buck or two!

eBay is not like it used to be. Lots of things have changed. Personally probably wouldn't sell there anymore or on Amazon. eBay likely is still good for some people, myself I mainly don't like the way their policies have changed in practical application.

You have to look at the market you're selling to. The market for the shoes in this single thrift store is small, so they would demand a lower price. When I list the same shoes on Ebay, the market becomes millions of potential buyers. The bigger the audience your item is in front of, the more money it can sell for (potentially). Thrift stores need to realize that their items are zero cost to them and they have a limited market.

I do use those for smaller womens shoes or sandals. I think customers appreciate when their shoes come in boxes, rather than envelopes though. Especially if it's a super tight fit. I'd rather just eat an extra $2 or so and ship them in a box rather than squeeze them into an envelope. again, I DO use those for really small shoes that fit in easily, just not for larger ones that require a lot of squeezing
@ThriftingAdventures

Keep an eye out for hobby board games (not talking about mass market Hasbro and Milton Bradley games). Games like Ticket to Ride, Catan, anything by Fantasy Flight Games, etc. They fetch hefty prices on eBay. Often sell for $3 or $4 at goodwill and can vary on ebay between $30 and $60

I have a thrift shop less than a mile from my place. Clothing is a $1 (no tax) unless marked. Vinyl LPs and CDs are a $1.07 each (with tax). Vintage T-shirts, new baseball hats, and CDs/LPs are my specialities. I've been making a killing and the shipping is cheap for media mail and small soft goods. I'm going to have a little "pop record sale" soon in the parking lot in front of my place - cash is better than PayPal and no eBay photos, write-ups, or shipping. It's like living next to a gold mine.

I'm amazed at how good and cheap the shoes are at South Carolina Goodwill stores. Here in Arizona, Goodwill puts shoes with any significant soles in the glass case at $30 plus. The only shoes out on the floor seem to have well-worn soles or other damage and still have a $10 price tag. I think Goodwill in each state must have their own unique pricing system. Here, Salvation Army seems to always have the good stuff to buy at the cheap prices, plus the quality of their stuff is far better than Goodwill. Here, so much of the stuff in Goodwill should have been put in a dumpster than donated.

Congrats on 10K sir, I applaud you trying to keep plastic bags out of the landfills, I recently purchased and started using an impulse heat sealing machine that allows me to seal items in these bags, it doesn't keep them out of landfills but does add one more use from them.

Sammie Runner great reuse. I use my sealer to reuse bags also that are usually in the free clean boxes I can source. Lol I think I have told about everybody about it. I feel it ups the presentation quite a bit and usually saves me money as well, the trade off with extra time spent is ok for me. I do tend to not use the grocery sacks or anything that looks like a garbage bag. So many other options available including making whatever bags I need from sheets of plastic, bubble wrap, shrink wrap (I tend to use on higher priced games, dvds, and other boxed items), and for more of the unique factor, sheet foam including sill plate foam gasket and after holiday clearance cello wrap (Easter is my favorite with yellows, blues, clear, etc and frilly patterns). Kinda thin so I save for exterior presentation. Hope I maybe gave you an idea that helps. Btw most everything of this I’ve been able to obtain from thrift and dollar stores for less than $2 including my current sealer (the bubble wrap and foam I would use with or without anyhow)
I really loved this video- you had me at saying bye, I love you to your dog. Haha ❤❤ Also from here it looks like you made some really good quick decisions- those Birkenstocks are prob worth max what they were charging, and those Sanuks are probably going to make you some decent change.
