They need art work on some of the walls, to give it a character, African art would be nice

Modern shopping? Isn't that everywhere in Nairobi?
Somaliyeey Alaha ni sharfo , ul iyo diirkeed insha allah
Game changer in Kenya's shopping needs!
It looks nice. Not very different from the malls here in America. I hope there is plenty of parking space. The problem with Eastleigh is narrow roads, lack of parking spaces, and trash.

Very impressive place its extra ordinary mall nothing different those in north america and europe and better than some malls in middle east greeting from somalia!!!
Customer Jacinta said it all for my views. Very architectural and beautiful built mega Mall establishment & a Certified Green Energy Building in Eastleigh neighborhood of Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa). Well done our Somali community in Kenya for such a wonderful business idea.👍✔🙏
Soomaaliyeey waxaan oo kale aan ka dhisano dalkeena walle waan awoodnaaye.
Wonderful & well done!
Eastleigh is filthy. The streets are narrow with very limited parking. Businesses have to take this into account.
Beautiful mall hope it will have recreational facilities though

The chaos, the traffic congestion, the filth will need to go if this is to become a successful venture. Otherwise major brands may begin to avoid it. Nevertheless, great mall and all the best!

That is a government failure. Private business can only do so much you know. They are already taxed enough but that tax money is put back into the areas to improve the roads, build sidewalks etc.
Atleast development in Eastleah
According to my observation, there is a huge difference In architectural design of malls in Southern Africa and East Africa. At times the East African malls tend to look like markets. I mean designed like a market.

But it's fully owned and run by Africans (Kenyans). To be specific Kenyan Somalis. Just like Ndebeles are in Zimbabwe and South Africa, Somalis are ingeniously found in Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia and Djibouti.

Big shout outs to the folks here at 0:37 and others for keeping it Swahili and English. The rest, must you speak a language the rest don't understand? We're making the mall LOCAL and creating an image of a TRIBE for a mall that's supposed to have an INTERNATIONAL outlook. Whoever does your communication is failing, if you even have one 😏. Anyway great investment for Kenya!

@@abdiawale5304 first, no Kenyan can say they don't understand Kiswahili or English 😂 that's not possible. Second, are they only somali people interviewed who don't understand English or Kiswahili, what if other tribes also spoke local languages? Third, there's something called subtitles Currently it is looking like a local shop, not welcoming to other fellow Kenyans or even the global market

Somalis seem to be rich and they prefer investing in Kenya and not their Country. But they should invest more in production like Indians instead of flooding Kenya with cheap Chinese products. This would improve GDP and create quality jobs other than hawking.

Makes the mall look very local village and as if it's only for a particular tribe. One would be forgiven to think it's a local kiosk. Next time they should have people who can articulate and talk about it in English or Swahili 😏 I keep telling them.
