As others below said this is a nice and factual video on how to start a Shopify store business. You focused nicely on the both the positive and negative ways of starting this business, and products to avoid selling on these stores. I took several notes on what you said in this video. Hi Davie, I have spent the last 3 days watching this video and following it step by step. I have now completed the 3 hour video, and although it took my way longer than 3 hours to work out how to set up shopify and run Facebook ads. I finally finished. This video has given me the confidence to try and learn more about the process when it comes to e-commerce sales and Facebook advertising. @@inoshdesilva1953 unfortunately nothing happened man. But A lot has happened in general since. Life throws things at you that you can never even imagine. But one thing I learnt is, if I am not 100% confident in the product and in the quality of the product, then it isn't for me. I got a lot of samples and they didn't match the photos and the quality wasn't great either. So I could not do it consciously. Cause I put myself in a buyer's shoes and wouldn't want it myself so I wouldn't sell it to others either. But If you are confident, then it's definitely worth it. I am now looking at Amazon FBA. I found that dropshipping isn't for me for the above reasons and you just spend lots of money just buying sample after sample

I love this video because it went as in depth as educating on which apps should be downloaded because getting the right apps early can grow a store to its full potential. In addition to these apps mentioned, I would also love to recommend the bundler app especially for those setting up a food or clothing store and are looking to sell their various products in bulk. Well crafted bundles go a long way in achieving that goal.

@@DavieFogarty I managed a ~$40M affiliate program for an ecom Saas company; many of our top affiliates were KZread creators that would funnel people to their paid course. 9/10 of them were fake, as in they never actually sold successfully on Amazon or Shopify. All the money they were making was from the course, and yeah they are essentially regurgitating and packaging information that is free. I still think there is a benefit to the structure of a course, and people may be more committed to following through having spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on it. Regardless, I appreciate Davie not $-gating his content and most of all, because he is ACTUALLY a successful ecommerce entrepreneur!

Hey Davie, would you be able to make a video specifically based on the steps to packing and fulfilling Shopify orders from home (when starting out). What delivery couriers you recommend, Shopify apps to integrate, labelling, package weight and so on... Hi Claudia! Would probably be quite a boring video given that I'm simply just packing but that has been covered in our Million Dollar Brand series! You can either start with Australia Post as they ship to most parts of the country, but Sendle do offer better rates and are more competitive. You can then integrate the best apps based on ratings that comply with those shipping couriers that you use. No best one as it all depends on the path that you take as well as the volume that you start with. But if you're just beginning, it's as simple as opening an Australia Post account and grabbing some stickers.

a 3PL is only for those who are purchasing their products from a wholesale manufacturer and want fulfillment handled on your behalf. If you can't afford it at this stage, then you can simply dropship your products from a supplier.
