@ 9:23 Should make this $0-$49.99 charged $10, then $50+ free. You left a $1 gap between $49 & $50. If you offer choices (USPS, UPS, etc.) and then the customer selects one, how does the shipper know to ship their item using that carrier? In your wine aerator example, you just selected "shipping with tracking", but that doesn't distinguish using USPS, etc., or does the customer's choice THEN get passed along to the shipper so they know which to use? What if a customer is buying 5 things but they're coming from different shippers (3 from one, 2 from another)- how does shipping get split up? Or does it even matter because I'm collecting any shipping charges from the customer and then turning around and paying whatever is necessary to pay the shippers what they charge? Thanks for the video, I have been setting up my new store for 3 weeks now and am very close to going live however I'm stuck on one thing and all the videos out there are not informative on this specific question. I am in Canada and I want to sell to both the US and the Canadian market, the autoDS how-to videos say to create a fake US address and set up your shipping rates from there including Canada as another country i want to sell to and ship to... but wouldn't the rates will be higher because im shipping cross border from the US to Canada so would it not just be right to ship from the Canadian Auto DS warehouses to Canadians?? am I right or should I just leave it as is? or should I open another separate shipping zone for Canada???

Hi! You can strategize the shipping rates like when you have the actual products. But the settings apply for dropshipping. You must have the correct "shipping from" for products you will set up the shipping fees in the profile as the check out page will pickup if it's from an app or if you have the products on-hand.

Hello! I'm new to Shopify and I'm struggling with the saved packages settings. How can I configure custom packages for different products? For example, I've saved small, medium, and large boxes, each for different types of products. However, it appears that Shopify uses the default package to calculate shipping weight and cost. Is there a way to assign specific packages to individual products so Shopify can factor that into the final weight? Let's say I sell small items that can be shipped in a 50 grams box, but other larger items need to be shipped in a 100 grams box. The default package is 50 grams, and it seems like that's the weight Shopify will use to calculate the cost of shipping.

You no longer need to set up the box sizes in Shopify, orders are directly shipped by suppliers so the manual flat rates will do. You should see the shipping fee for each items before importing them to your store, so you should already add the shipping cost to your selling price or set up a separate flat rate in Shopify for AutoDS items. If you choose by quantity in Shopify, it will stack up the shipping rate for each product. So free shipping is recommended so you can add that cost in the actual selling price. might have to do a mock checkout using your address. It shows up and you can cross check your sections.

For orders, AutoDS can find similar products through a product sourcing feature. So when I go to set up my shipping, I don't have that option "Set up your own rates," mine just says "Use flat rate." Is that the same thing?

Hi, thanks for the video! I am wondering how AutoDs gets the shipping prices. Are the product prices updated dynamically on the store depending on the location of the customer? The shipping cost varies with location so if I include the shipping cost in my product price, the product price has to change with location. Is this implemented automatically with AutoDs? Hi! You can use flat rates or free shipping in your Shopify store with AutoDS products. Just make sure before importing the products, you enable the "shipping included" in AutoDS. Once products are imported to your store, tools like us won't have the ability to change prices in the store. So make sure you set a selling price with a good profit margin.
