Brandon, You're a busy farmer so if you don't video everything, we understand why ! Other than that, good work, and nice to see the piston clamp put to proper use for a change. As usual, love the work you do and thanks for that. From UK.

Great video and very informative Brandon. Hey you didn’t need no excavator to loosen the nut and tighten the nut on the cylinder, just let George use those big guns 💪 of his on it 😂. Thanks again you guys take care and stay safe 👍

Watching a cylinder rebuild is never boring for me. It seems you always learn something new and it's just plain interesting.

If you get rid of most of the water then sometimes the rest will evaporate out when the oil gets good and hot. Thanks for the video.

Love seeing how you did the cylinder. I remember doing them We once had one we couldn’t pull apart. Hooked the hyd lines up and shot it out. 😂 We used a 1 inch air gun for the nut with a socket but that one was a heat and beat. Wish we had Friday parts wrench back then. Combo wrench and sledge hammer gets a little scary sometimes! Thanks for sharing. Glad to see the 690B back ready to work

On an excavator does the hydraulic system have a way of recirculating such as when you start the excavator does the hydraulic fluid basically run through the pump somehow and then back into the hydraulic tank so that the liquid can warm up or doesit only flow when you start either moving the machine or moving the joysticks to make the arm move? I used to drive front load trash trucks and they usually had a system that would recirculate so that when you would start the truck in the morning when it was cold, it would actually circulate the fluid even though you weren’t operating anything.

Yes they do recirculate some oil through the valve body and tank for warm up when it's super cold I'll leave them set for 15-20mins move them around alittle bit to get the cold oil from the cylinders in to the tank then let it set alittle while then start working being easy on them for 15 mins just light work (re stacking brush piles things like that) then once I feel things are warmed up then I get in to the heavy work for the day like digging stumps out....clean ditch or just loading trucks just get right in to it after the warm up cycle that's easy work

I hope I’m wrong, but didn’t you put the back up ring on the wrong side of the seal on the gland? Should be wiper, backer, then the wider white seal. Thought you put the back up ring in b4 the white seal b4 wiper seal. But I’m not a expert and hope I

I put the backer in then the white seal and held the backer up that's the only way for some reason it will go together if you put the white seal in first then try the backer the backer won't go in I think I made it sound like I put the backer in first I didn't mention I held it up
