I always enjoy coming along with your visits to charity shops. My husband worked in our textile mills here in Virginia for forty years and has many of the spools and spindles. I LOVE the tall candlestick and your finish moves it to another level. So gorgeous.....am envious of your brass candlestick collection. Awesome.

Love the history in the beginning of the video. To me, here in a young California, I can't imagine living among such historical towns and buildings and churches. It all looks magical to me. It is always a pleasure to stop by and and visit with you Tracey. I always appreciate it when you take us to different areas and Malvern was no exception. It looks so Beautiful!! Having the added history bits is so interesting. It doesn't take too long once into your video that you have me chuckling. So cute your excitment seeing all the vessels and then having Bertie sniff out the wooden kitchen boards. 😂 I would love one day to attend an antique sale as large as that one. All your finds were so so good. Of course loved the fact that you picked up a few more (whose counting) brass candle stick holders. They are so lovely and I actually found the price to be very reasonable. I agree, You couldn't leave them behind. As much as I thought everything was just amazing, the ceramic wood bowl was gorgeous. I loved today's video thank you. So much information and such an eclectic haul of iitems. The large candlestick was my favourite and I loved the way you enhanced it and styled it. One of my ex-husband's brother lives there and the other a bit outside that area and the third in Hemel Hempstead. We spend three weeks there. I loved the English countryside!

I have bobbins like those and I display them on on 🌽 corncob dryer with a small ornament hanging on each…during the non holiday times I have bobbins with jewel tone yarn/thread.

Question? How do you sand the areas where the sander won’t do? Like your candle stick from flea market? I’m working on an armoire now that has fine wood lines and a paper sander doesn’t work at all. It got the black paint off sort off but the original dark stain NO WAY. I got soooo fed up I painted it and will try and distress to natural wood the best I can. Any suggestions?
