Shooting Pistols with a Couple of Turkeys

Trying out a few pistols in the USA that would be hard( if not impossible) to have in Australia. Uzi pistol, Chiappa pistol, Century Arms 7.62 x 39, Kel-Tec .556 pistol

It sure looked like you guys were having fun. I hope you can get your rights back in Australia some day. BTW, the Kel Tec was jamming, because its a Kel Tec. Cheers.

"Who cares about practicality here, were just having fun' I wish Australia had that notion.

+Puffycheeks We don't have it because the aggregate mindset of the population has been manipulated.

And guineas too! Guineas are the opposite of turkeys. They make good alarm guard fowl. They are wild as the West Texas wind and outrun predators so they seldom fly, but they can.

Steve, in order to put a stock on those pistols, you would have to file a Form 1, and pay a $200.00 tax stamp.

+smack00 In AUS a pistol is merely a weapon of a certain length. So long as the firearm remain under ~28 inches in length it is a pistol, regardless of whether or not it has a stock.

The turkeys weren't scared by the shooting? Wow.

My favorite was when they slowed it down, the turkeys sounded hilarious.

Here in Canada the uzi is banned and that sucks. We can get the Lar 15 pistol with 10 round mags.

    Always called them stockless rifles.

just throwing a stock on it is definitely illegal unless you have a short barrel rifle permit which is like $200. just like having a supressor also is a $200 permit. the paperwork is substantial for each.

because you know if it has a short barrel it becomes a super assault nuclear rifle

+smoothmovez it's less bad than people make it out to be, if you can own the pistol you can own the sbr (So long as the state allows), its even easier with a trust, probably easier to get an sbr in the states than a .22 in oz

i know a guy who tried to bring one into Melbourne when they just started to get the spot light about 10 years ago, they said "your not allowed it because of the way it looks" bloody cops it would be such a great gun to have.

most of those pistols are designed to use straps or stocks to stabilize. otherwise they are just really awkward to shoot

Nothing's impossible to have in Australia, mail it in piece by piece or just get a job in customs. Of course if you get caught, you'll never *legally* own a gun again.

+informationwarfare I don't get why unmarked swat would take a guy just because of a firearm as that doesn't normally happen so I would guess he would of done something like armed robbery or killed someone I order for that response
