Thanks for the comment mate. Unfortunately in Australia feral cats are probably the worst invasive animal. We'll, there's a lot of different animals that are an issue but cats and foxes are directly linked to many extinctions if you google it. A hard thing for many to grasp and I appreciate you taking a stance based on ecology not opinion 👌

Good work on the feral cats. Always makes me mad when I see one on the edge of the bush, thinking of how much damage they do to the birds and small reptiles.

Me and my mate do a fair bit of pest control here in the UK. In one area we have permission too shoot on all the farms except one. They like the lovely fluffy foxes or rather they did until they started killing their hens. Now they very much want us to "control" them. Love the video's mate ignore the snowflakes (I'm sure you do) . The haters aren't living in the real world. Keep on doing what you do.

Also a UK dweller and bought up in the country so I absolutely understand the neccessity of pest control. My father and I lost around 400 hens to the predation of foxes in one incident so zap a couple for me.

Hi there new subscriber, love what you do for our Australian flora & fauna which are seriously effected by feral & introduced species of animals, & as I use to cull & hunt a few years ago, really appreciate the professionalism & humane efforts in your videos. I'm from the country so I understand the importance of preserving our environment with minimal impact from agriculture/beef/dairy & the like; plus living near a dairy farm I often hear gun fire at night during calving season as wild dogs, pigs will kill the calf while it being born or there after. P.S I love Venison and wild pig smoked sausages yum.

Good work Mate, feral cats are responsible for over a dozen mammal extinctions in Australia, like the Rusty Numbat, the Dessert Bandicoot, the Cresent Nailtail Wallaby, these animals will never be seen again, and about 8 more native mammals are on the extinction list, Keep up the great work.

Can't say that we have plagues of frogs. If anything, frogs are under a lot of pressure from cane toads, cats, foxes and climate change.

Matthew is on the money with cast, I've used cast on all manner of animals up to camels and they work well, powder coating works but so does hard cast and high velocity lube like Lyman moly with a gas check. 2206H was the powder I used, flat points are great.

Impressive work. New one for me: I didn't realize y'all have fox, and can imagine they're most unwelcome.

Fantastic work as always. That's a heap of foxes in one go and cats to boot. Been a dry spell for foxes here, so fingers crossed I can at least get one next time I'm out.

Hey mate, love your work. You are so motivated and focused. Don't worry about the naysayers, they've got no idea how harmful these feral are in our environment. As for the .308, a fellah once told me" don't force it ,just use a bigger hammer" and that hammer is always the right size !

Great video. I love cats,and fox's and hate seeing them killed, however sometimes this has too be done in order too protect the native animals that are being wiped out due to their invasive unwanted presence. This is the same problem we are having here in the United States because of Python's. Good shooting, and happy hunting my friend.

Love you videos and I wanted to say bloody good work! I have a question for you; what are the laws on suppressors in Australia and what are your opinions about them? It is common to see them here in Norway and Sweden and most hunters prefer using them. I apologize in advance if you get this question often and that you have answered this a million times already

Thanks for the support Alex. Suppressors are highly restricted in Australia which is ridiculous. Yes they are possible to own but pretty much not if your a recreational hunter. I'm hoping to get one in the future for professional pest control shooting.

So good to see ferals, especially cats and foxes, being taken out of the ecosystem. Not much of an impact really, but every little bit helps. Mental health is a concern when you are out there doing your thing, so please take more care next time with your nourishment, as that white twix bar demise broke my heart. Hope you are okay.

It was a low point mentally. But a quick sniff of G96 oil and I was all right again 💥

It's a shame the meat goes to waste nowadays. I remember watching a documentary years ago about hunting roo's brumbies and camels for the pet food industry in Australia, the guy used a refrigerated wagon and a chainsaw to get the meat in the chiller before it spoiled in the heat, those guys made a living out of it, and helped the farmers at the same time 😉

@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK Did you try to analyze the case/ primer afterwards ? Pull the bullet and carefully decap it ? Are you using a good primer-pocket uniformer to level the pockets for your initial case prep and clean them bare after each load? What make of primers were they ? Look up Sinclair International in the 'States for those kinds of tools. I know it sounds a little " Benchrest-y" to do that to cases, but years competing in F-class out to 1000m says it works. High-five and thanks for the content from Canada.

@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK Ah. Ok.. I thought perhaps you tried to lift the bolt an extra time or 2 to reset the firing pin/ trigger group for another strike on the primer. No worries... Was it a short-stroke, or did your next cartridge hang-up in the mag ? You can get a little of the ceramic coating/ graphene coating that you use on car exteriors, and coat the inside of your mags to make them super slick so they don't have as much friction.

To get all that in 1 night is impressive must be an awesome block. I Just got back from a paid block, 5 guys with about 30k in thermal gear between us, hunted all night for 3 nights at $90 pp per night and the tally was 1 pig 😂 not 1 fox or deer seen

Yeah a lot of paid places get hammered. Plenty of pressure in this location too but I mix it up a bit with a quiet quad and a bit of on foot work. I also get off the beaten tracks where possible.

.308 vs small invasive critter = win for the native wildlife. Very humane kill with a pink mist show.

It was quite a push to get that whole mob. Needed to get up infront of them. That coke (warm) was gold 😃
