I love how ethical he is, and how important it is to him to make a clean kill and making sure that not even a pigeon suffers from a bad shot.

4:50 When he snipped that male pigeon the only thing that I thought of was this: Dude go ask her out. I don't know man. Come on. The worse thing she could do is say no. Well... Just go for it. You're right, what's the worst that can happen? Hey baby you liking these cirlces? *Enter Ted*

Those birds have families back in the nest. What's the best way to learn the nest location so I can cook the mama bird in an omelette of its eggs? Is it possible to shoot a tracker on the mama bird without killing it so it gets back to the nest with me not far behind? Awesome videos!

It taste so good when you kill a mama bird then take her eggs, go home make an omelette and put her cooked breast meat in it. Then violently chop it all up too cause a toxic masculinity affect. Thus getting retards upset over human nature.
These are seriously some of the best videos on KZread. SUPER educational and entertaining.
Im not a hunter, but man, loving your precision and analysis of the wind and surroundings. Dope as hell!
man I get excited when these come out. I've never even shot a gun but your camera work and explanations of everything make these videos a joy to watch! keep them coming ted!

And since when do you know me? I think you are not in the right postition to say that my friend.
Your shooting expertise is complemented nicely by your video editing expertise. Both very nicely done.
I really appreciate the efforts you take for the follow up shots to avoid letting them suffer before dying.
Elements of urban exploration, pest plinking, maths, and philosophy. This is a very cool video.
I would just like to point out that this guy is not trying to hurt the pigeons, he is trying to kill them (an odd but important distinction). He's not trying to make the animals suffer. He's trying to eliminate a pest bird cleanly and humanly. In addition to this, he makes sure that the animals aren't wasted! I true hunter through and through
if only the education system could make topics as enjoyable to learn as you present them. back when i was in highschool i wouldn't have given the slightest shit about trigonometry or all the other various applied mathematics in your videos. but you make it so interesting that as soon as i see your video on the feed i immediately stop any other videos. as always, fantastic video, informative as ever. cant wait for your pigeon pie video.

Trigonometry was the only advanced math i ever was good at. I'm glad to see it used in a cool manner.
Extremely professional and humane. The sign of a hunter who enjoys his craft without causing undue misery on the things he hunts.

I am back into airguns after a 10 year hiatus, and well a lot of things have changed form guns to pellets and even game! Just wanted to say I have watched hundreds if not more air gun videos and I find yours to be the very best of the best!....thanks for your insight knowledge and more importantly your time in shearing them with us!
Oh, shit guys, he's gonna make a video about making pigeon pie out of dead pigeons... ...THE HORROR...!!! Watch, he's going to meet the same fate as Marie Callender, making Chicken Pot Pie out of dead Chicken Pots. #sarcasm
Awesome when people let their abandoned properties be used by FD for training. The real thing prepares you more than any academy prop
i am one of those sick people, but i also did enjoy you opening your heart and pondering life in the abandoned house, it changed my mind set for today
Its refreshing to see someone so passionate about something. I can tell it truly makes you happy. Good job Dude.
Glad to see more videos Ted
Another great vid! I really enjoy hearing the science behind the shots as well seeing the pigeons headed for the pie!
I don't remember how I came across your channel, but I love these videos. Excellent camera work, narration, and of course shooting!
Ted, thanks for your explanations. I have been learning a lot about shooting at different angles from watching and re-watching your videos.Very few people here in the Ozarks shoot air rifles.
Ted, Very very nice shooting and hunting,,,, you are a genius hunter,,,, i would like to get/have your exact experience shooting in such a strong wind .... thanks for taking time and provide us such a nice vid ...
Wow, amazing shots. You makes this looks so easy.
Love watching your videos. It's great that you know everything about how your rifle functions in different environments at all distances. A true hunter!
I am absolutely astonished at the math you do. This is the best way to learn how to "snipe" accept one goes floop and one goes boom.
Ted, I love your videos, your attitude, and outlook on life. I do have a question you could maybe answer? How are you able to tell how many mildots you need to hold over? How are you judging the wind and how much to dope? Are you using a anemometer + a phone app? I'd really appreciate a reply. Thanks, Ted.

+Justins1877 Maybe I can help. I am a trained shooter. Scope training with "sniper" rifles and handguns are my specialty. The way you use mildots: You use them as a reference point. In order to judge wind and distance you can use a variety of tools. You can lick your finger to tell which way the wind is moving. You can use shrubs or leaves blowing in the wind. You can use electronics, weather reports, etc. Once you accurately judge the wind to be at a certain wind speed you can then adjust your shot to correspond with the wind difference. In order to that it does however take training. No one can really explain it to you in a comment section. Once you learn the technical side of it and the math, it then becomes second nature and you eventually just get a "feel" for it.

Finally a dose of Ted :) I just recently implemented a regulator in my evanix rainstorm. And boy oh boy is it a joy to shoot. Hitting targets with groups of half inch precision at 100 yards. Thats what airgun shooting is all about. Constant improvement.
I love Teds videos. Always so well done and informative. I love the corn flying out of the birds crop....never even heard of a crop.

All you bleeding heart cry baby's make me laugh! You knew what this vid was about, but yet you still chose to click and watch so u could whine any way lol. Another great video Ted ;)! Awesome KY windage too. I killed 2 dove in one shot out of my bedroom window last year,it was only 20yds away though and both were on the ground. I used the "Gamo Whisper" 1200fps .177 with the scope it came with. Caught them walking towards each other, and used the ambush method waiting for the exact moment there heads lined up. I know you can reproduce that same shot, only at 5 times that distance or more with the rifles and scope/camera you have. Sure would be cool to see it done with a Pellet Rifle like yours that is more than capable of head shots at those distances 8) just a though bud.
Awesome job shooting, filming and editing. Also very informative with tips on the holdover. Thank you!
May not have been your best day hunting, but this is your best hunting video to date. I enjoyed the anatomy explanation of the kill shots! And I appreciate seeing your follow up shot when initially wounding your target.

Don't want to offend someone, but why is this guy killing them? He gona eat them, or sell them...? Some pigeons are edible... even delicious... If he'll use them for something it's ok, BUT if it's just for... Idk... Fun...? Then it's plain retarded... Makes no sence killing something for no reason... Even if they anoy him it's no reason to kill them new ones will come so killing is usless. It seems that this guy is just plain duschbag. One more thing... People being all like "Stupid Americans"... Dusches like this are everywhere killing for fun... (no im not from America im European )

Nikola Nikolic Birds are less capable of feeling emotions as strong as humans. Hunting is completely natural, these birds were killed quickly and not wasted. They needed to be killed because they were ruining the ecosystem around them and were becoming a nuisance.
@AnarchyParkour35
10 жыл бұрын
Nikola Nikolic that argument is stupid. Humans in their own mind feel more important than animals so no logical person is going to consider that a valid argument. Second if killing were legal people would be killing each other in a heartbeat make no mistake about that they do it now just with consequences. The fact of the matter is hunting those birds is completely legal and also encouraged, even by bird loving groups. Why? Because they are an aggressive pest bird that damages native species and also causes massive damage to crops which also damages the Money they make and even more also damages the produce that is in the markets for you vegetarians, or at your fast food places for all you hypocritical meat eaters because make no mistake its affects the cattle too because of how much these pest birds can consume. So please take your "argument" somewhere else because you're making yourself look silly by not using real facts and details that are provided to you by the guy making the videos.
@youcantseemeebro3454

Nikola Nikolic You're comparing a pigeon who is probably carrying so many illnesses, to a human mother? Look, I'm all for animal rights and all, but pigeons are terrible, they get people ill, they spread disease, they're like sewer rats but they fly. And plus, they breed like fucking bunnies, their population is getting out of hand, we need to do what this guy is doing more often.
Very nice editing and nice shots too!
