Ойын-сауық

We are building out my new Hoyt RX-8 to shoot with no sight! Joel Turner from Shot IQ came out and walked me through the process of shooting a bow in this way!

This deserves a whole series. I'd like to see what a longer axel bow & finger tab could do.

Unless its a long ass bow, like 50 ATA, its going to be uncomfortable to shoot finger.

I've been shooting a 33" ATA bow with fingers for the last 12 yrs... It's definitely doable, and definitely comfortable enough.

I always tell people that wanna start shooting instinctively or like this, it’s like anything else practice, practice, practice. Like throwing a baseball or football. You don’t think about it, just becomes muscle memory. That’s why an outfielder can throw a baseball to home plate right in the catcher’s glove. Great video RJ !

I have always shot my compound bows bare bones just arrow rest , knock point and glove , like the man said " its like a regular bow on steroids " that's right ! and they are easily tuneable unlike regular bows .. 👍Good vid thanks .

I'm not a compound guy, but I don't think I have ever seen a group of compound shooters enjoy themselves so much. Just like a few kids with the latest greatest toy. Loved the video, very cool.

Ive shot bare bow compound for over 35 yrs, minus 1 1/2 that i tried sights, and a year i used a release (ala uncle Ted) This is definitely interesting way to shoot that i might play around with a little.

One of the most truly educational videos I’ve seen in a long time. Years ago I did some of this “bare bow” compound shooting. It is amazing to see the arrows fly only faster !

That's still sighting the bow. No where near instinctive shooting capabilities can achieve. Check out Tim Wells and the Fitzgerald father/son. They all shoot compound bare bow, true instinctive.

We had to lengthen the D Loop to allow it to bend to my cheekbone slightly allowing me to get closer to the arrow. My draw arm sits farther back now so Im still at the same draw but my back arm is stretched slightly farther back😁👍
