HI Carl, I've been watching all your videos so I want to thank you for taking the time to make them, subscribed. I wonder if you can give me your perspective on and issue. So I am retired from a 40 some year career in anesthesia and since my grandson has been playing baseball I've photographed him, his games, the Cal Ripken league tournaments etc for about 4 years. Having had an interest in photography years ago I wasn't a total newbie. I've started a legit licensed business and selling some photos, striving to improve every game or portrait session. I have a opportunity to shoot for my grandson's high school baseball next four years and since I already love this and will be there anyhow, I am doing it. So this leads to my questions ( sorry long winded ). I applied to Maxpreps about a month ago and Mr Redmon emailed with disappointing news, but said I can apply again. Actually I did send one photo I loved of play at home , dust flying, Helmut flying and runner's face is soft, my story was the scene, not sharp runner, should have chosen better. Anyhow he said there were some issues with sharpness and then noted that I had an insufficient supply of lens. This I don't understand. I have 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 120-300 2.8 80-400 5.6, 35 1.8, 50 1.8 and super wide fish eye lens, crop and FF bodies. In daytime light, the 400 mm with crop sensor is quite adequate reach. I ask Mr Redmon what he recommends ( I would purchase it ) but haven't received a reply. Your thoughts on this please. Also, if you don't mine....do you crop at all and do you sharpen a bit in post? I am aware of minimum necessities in a sport photo, face/eyes, ball, and as every photo, sharpness and appreciate honest critique. MaxPreps is a waste of time. They don't pay hardly anything. I've also viewed many of their images and I'm not impressed. Focus on your photography, for you, and occasionally do a side gig to help pay for new gear as you need it, you'll have more fun. You have all the gear that you need.

@Oscar Wyatt thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
